Villa de Las Palmas is located in a prime beach neighborhood on the West side of Santa Cruz. Situated on a very large lot, with a private back yard, this 6 bedroom, 2 bath home is perfect for 2 or 3 families, or your long-overdue family reunion. Walking distance to all of the best Santa Cruz has to offer: Cowell's Beach, the Municipal Wharf, the Boardwalk, Steamer Lane, the surfing museum and downtown Santa Cruz.

This wonderful home was built in 1946 for one of the pioneer fishing families in Santa Cruz. It is truly the quintessential FAMILY home. All on one level, pecan hardwood floors throughout. The backyard is perfect for croquet or bocce ball. A soak in the large, private hot tub will provide a perfect end for your perfect day at the beach.

We have thought of and provided everything that you will need for a fun, relaxing and memorable vacation in Santa Cruz. You will not be disappointed!

This is the best location for your Santa Cruz beach vacation. You will want to come back again and again!

We had a family reunion in Santa Cruz with a wide range of ages from young children through to grand parents. The house was wonderful, spacious, well furnished with a lovely outdoor space. Just a short walk down to the beach. We all loved it and would recommend.

Great location for walks to beach, boardwalk, restaurants and walks on west cliff drive. We loved the big yard and patio with plenty of seating. We thought two baths would not do for 12 people but because they are large, it all worked out. Will definitely be back.

This house has 6 very spacious bedrooms plus a huge dining table and very large living room with ample seating. It was the perfect home base for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids for a week of fun in Santa Cruz. Walkable to West Cliff Dr and the Boardwalk, the house was really excellent and we had everything we needed. Note that there were no products in the bathrooms (soap, shampoo etc) so we had to buy those (and extra toilet paper and paper towels because not much was provided). I would recommend getting some plastic dishes and bowls too for use with small kids.

We so enjoyed our stay at Villa de las Palmas. We had ocean adventures, hiking adventures, fabulous feasts, games, and movies. All made possible by the perfect location of this wonderful property.Six very well appointed and wonderful bedrooms each with very comfortable beds. The very large family room was made inviting with couch space galore, large coffee tables, and a large screen smart TV. All in all perfect for puzzle making, reading, listening to music, watching movies, games, etc.The dining room table easily seats 10-12 and is conveniently right off the kitchen. With two additional entry/exit points there was never a traffic jam in the dining room.The kitchen is smallish, but well appointed. We made cookies, a Feast of the Seven Fishes meal one night, and New York Steak dinner another, using the stove, the grille, the oven, two separate prep sinks, cutting boards, and nearly every cooking & serving utensil and spice in the large stock available. (Eat your heart out Julia Child.)All in all I was a magical Christmas, and Villa de las Palmas was no small part of that. Finally, the host. Jill made herself available for any questions and was very accommodating of our requests. We have stayed at many VRBOs in the US and Europe. I can say, Jill is the most approachable and delightful host we have encountered.Villa de las Palmas is well recommended.

We had a great stay. The owner was amazing with communication. Any issue we had, she jumped on it and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. The house is very cozy, great for a big family group. The hot tub was exceptionally clean, ready to go. I don't think the pictures do this place justice. It's really lovely. We did pilates on the back lawn and it was very peaceful and beautiful. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The location is amazing, able to walk to beaches, lighthouse, boardwalk. The backyard is lovely. House is roomy and good flow. There were a couple of items that need attention- the outdoor b’cue was dirty and we were not able to turn on. The kitchen floors seem to have water intrusion as they buckle in spots. Not enough dishwasher soap- had to contact owner. We were told that there were 4 large bath towels however when we arrived there were only two.

The place was perfect for my mom and her kids, grandkids and great grandkids We could spread out to relax and socialize outside or in the large living area,and then gather and dine together at one big table The kitchen was large and well-stocked with cookware and serving dishes All of the bedrooms were large and bright. During our week in Santa Cruz, we enjoyed a comfortable stay. The house was spacious and clean. The backyard was perfect for our dogs to relax and play. The house is located on a busy corner and it could be difficult to find parking during the day as people like to park on Bay and walk to the beach. If there had been a driveway with parking, it would have been a bit easier to find parking in front of the property. Overall nice place with a convenient location.

Our family of 12, including teens and young children found enough room in this very large house. The front and back yards were nicely maintained and perfect for the Easter egg hunt we had. The configuration of the house with one of the bathrooms (there are only 2) between two of the bedrooms and the people sleeping there happened to be the family members who slept later. Something to think about when bedrooms are assigned. There were only 3 large rolls of toilet paper per bathroom so we had to purchase more. We also had to purchase salt, although there was plenty of pepper and miscellaneous other spices. The large dining room table and plenty of chairs were perfect for our family meals and the high chair a welcome addition. We were always able to find on-street parking and the walk to the cliffs and boardwalk was a fairly short distance. We would stay here again, perhaps in the summer months when the beach would be warm enough for hanging out and playing in the sand.

One of the only listings you’ll find that has six bedrooms for six adults, no bunk beds or other children-only accommodations, perfect for a friends trip. We absolutely loved the close location to the beach and Boardwalk The amenities were plenty we cooked most our meals in house and appreciated having access to the laundry as we have a large family. My kids enjoyed endless hours of fun in Santa Cruz. Parking was the most difficult about this situation. It is very limited near the house. Neighbors were pleasant.

This large, sprawling ranch style home, accommodated our group of 10 perfectly with ample space. It truly offers indoor outdoor living with the large patio and back, patio tables, couches and complete privacy. Our group enjoyed the hot tub as well. An easy walk to the boardwalk and to the wharf, in our favorite neighborhood in Santa Cruz, West Cliff. Perfect home for large parties with six bedrooms. Very responsive host. What an amazing time we had with our family and friends at this beautiful beach villa! So many great memories made and such a serene environment. Not only was the owner (Jill) accommodating, friendly, and responsive, her home was just perfect for our family of 10 plus a few friends. The house is spacious with 6 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen stocked with all the necessary amenities and a backyard that was inviting, spacious and private. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and the bbq a few times during our stay. Everything was very clean and a lot of care put into prepping the home before our stay. The house is only a few blocks from the beach which was also convenient. We definitely recommend the property and hope to be back again soon! Thank you for opening up your home to us!

There were 9 of us and we didn’t even need all of the 6 bedrooms. The house was bright and sunny, the kitchen fully equipped and the yard nicely landscaped. As city people, we were thrilled with the hot tub and proximity to the beach. We found Jill extremely responsive to our questions. You must be comfortable without shoes because the host takes the beautiful floors very seriously.
