*** NEWLY RENOVATED**** Escape to a Beautiful Getaway on the Chesapeake Bay

Beautiful view and beautiful house. Stocked with everything you could need. Great location to Northeast, Charlestown and Havre de Grace. Lots of bugs outside, but you're on the water and tis the season!

Perfect location on the river. Nice house with open space and good natural light. Well stocked kitchen.

The location next to the water is wonderful with beautiful sunrises and the hot tub is very nice. The house has plenty of space with expected amenities. Not a fan of the thick memory foam mattress toppers but know some people like those. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the house is just 10-15 minute drive from town and Havre de Grace. The house was very clean but furniture upholstery could use a good cleaning. All in all it was a nice place and we would stay there again. It would be super fun in warmer weather.

When we arrived we were very disturbed to find the dock pictured on the website was broken and 1/2 in the water and a permanent railing blocked the access with obviously no intent to repair. The inside of the house seemed to be clean but we recleaned as the toilets were actually stained, and we weren't sure about the dishes so we rewashed all of those. The house can use a deep cleaning with dirt and dust bunnies under all the furniture, i.e. couches and beds. There were tall weeds in the walkway, lots of old cobwebs and bugs all over the house and furniture. On Thursday we called the owner and it took him over 5 hours to respond (not knowing why we were calling). We rent a house with a dock for convenience, and although we did get a refund, the owner telling us there wasn't a dock anymore would have been helpful. We would have rented another house if we knew. The location was picturesque but the house itself needs a good cleaning and the dock needs to be repaired. The owner needs to respond to questions as well.
