About this villa rental
Villa Los Gorgones is a luxurious villa in tasteful French-Caribbean style, located in a quiet corner of Las Galeras. Surrounded by nature and blue ocean, this villa invites guests to enjoy an unforgettable caribbean vacation to the fullest.
The house boasts an impressive, spacious living room with high wood ceilings, that continues onto the terrace. The infinity pool overlooks the landscaped backyard and the deep blue Atlantic ocean.
The master bedroom and two of the guest rooms have direct access to the swimming pool. All the stylishly decorated bedrooms have their own private bathroom with hot and cold shower. The master bedroom has a king size bed, 2 guestrooms with queen size bed, and 1 guest room with 2 single beds. There is a small children's bed available as well.
For those who want to do some cooking, there is a fully equipped kitchen with most things you would expect, a large gas stove with oven, and a barbeque outside.
Several beaches are within walking distance; the closest is La Playita, only a 5-minute walk. The main street is a 10-minute walk away, making this villa an excellent choice for guests without a car.

Firstly, Hans and Maria were excellent in every aspect of personal hospitality. I could not imagine better hosts. The house itself is amazing, as are the grounds and surrounding neighborhood. Las Galeras is a wonderfully quaint small town, with plenty of amenities for a nice, quiet vacation. We will definitely be back, and look forward to continuing some great conversations and shared stories with Hans. Overall 10/10 vacation experience for sure.

One of our very best vacation rental experiences. Everything was perfect from the house to the location to the staff. Our party of 9 included adults, little kids and grandparents. Everyone spent most days by or in the pool with the stunning views.
We walked the quick, 10-12 minutes to get French pastries from the bakery every morning, and walked the quick, 5 minutes to the beautiful la Playita everyday.
The housekeeper, Maria cooked a fantastic dinner one night that I’d also recommend.
Our host, Hans was quick to answer any questions and offer help.
The house is even better than the pictures and is impeccably clean. We were all sad to go and would love to return some day.

We had an amazing time and here delighted with this house. First we were there with your kids. The location was perfect as the pool is lovely for them and we could walk to la players which is as beautiful (more so because it’s less crowded) than the famed playa Rincon. To a good location for daily outings or staying home and relaxing. Also Esmeralda - the house keeper- was incredibly helpful. She cooked for us multiple nights and it was always delicious. She also did a great job always tidying up which let us have more time to relax. Finally Hans is a great guide to the area. He can help arrange everything and was very responsive to any questions. As the icing on the case, when our kids got sick, he even had his wife bring us extra meds for the babies from the pharmacy in Samana. We loved this place and we will be back!
A side note- the short road there from the town isn’t well paved. We had a small sedan and we were fine but if you’re not super comfortable on back rounds rent an suv or better yet get a shuttle through Hans and you can rent one locally for day trips (or go with a tour group).
