About this house rental
GREAT LAKE LOCATION close to nearby Skylandia beach at Lake Tahoe, where you can rent kayaks and paddleboards, or just float in the shallow water. For a more adventurous day, you can float down the Truckee River on some of the tubes we provide. Our home is ten minutes from Tahoe City with great restaurants and shopping.
We have everything you need for a fun packed trip - umbrellas, chairs, rafts and toys and we can help you plan your itinerary! We have a ping pong table, outdoor games and great deck seating with a gas bbq. There is a second refrigerator in the garage so you can stock up on food and beverages. Our home is close to many hiking trails, or you can just walk around the quiet neighborhood.
This kid friendly home, offers the coziness of a cabin, but the amenities of a newer home. Two master bedrooms with comfortable King size beds make it ideal for two or more families to enjoy. The third bedroom has a queen bed and the fourth has a double bed AND bunk beds.. Each room has top of the line mattresses to ensure a great nights sleep. The kitchen was remodeled in the summer of 2016 and boasts a six burner gas stove, quiet dishwasher, full oven and sink and convection/microwave. There is also a coffee bar with a Breville coffee maker and Keurig single serve. Other amenities include a blender, rice cooker, vita mix, toaster and crock pot.
Also, a GREAT SKI LOCATION. In the winter - minutes from seven ski resorts, including Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Northstar. Cross country ski, snow mobile,or snowshoe and then head back to curl up in front of the wood burning stove. Flat driveway to accommodate multiple cars. We all really enjoyed our time at this property, we went up Super bowl weekend with two family's; My family of 5 (3 kids age ranging 13-23) and my brothers family of 4 (2 young kids 3/5) and all of us had a spectacular time. The house is just the right size for everyone to have their own space yet still have the togetherness and family time. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to whip up a super bowl spread, our only complaint was someone put a way a lot of "dirty dishes" so everything needed to be rewashed before use, not a big deal at all. We are hoping to make this a ritual and spend every year at this house. There is a perfect little hill in the back for the kids to sled and build snowman. We all really enjoyed our relaxing time. Our host was very responsive, we hope to make another reservation soon, looks like this house would be a blast in summer too. You even get a partial lake view... So pretty

We had a wonderful stay in Tahoe. Donna and Josh were most accommodating. Quiet neighborhood. We relaxed and enjoyed our stay which is what we wanted for a family only weekend. Thank you.

This was our first trip to Lake Tahoe. The property was everything the listing shows to be and more. The location was perfect for all the hiking, biking, shopping, and beach activities around Lake Tahoe! Donna was more than gracious with answering emails and giving suggestions of things to do while visiting the lake area. Everyone was able to shop, hike multiple trails, see waterfalls, paddle board and kayak on the lake, mountain bike, and enjoyed a ropes course! Vacation 2019 was a huge success! Thank you Donna!

This is a very lovely home in a very peaceful and relaxing community. Dollar Point is very tranquil in a forest setting, with a short jaunt to the lake. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and gazing at all of the beautiful homes nestled amongst the trees. We spent a very relaxing day at Dollar Point Beach. Our stay was short, but we enjoyed every minute. This home met all of our needs and we felt very comfortable. We plan on returning in the future!
