Breathtaking Caldera View, Great Comfort, Romantic And Fully Revamped.

Elizabeth was a great host! Took care of all our needs- things to do - shuttles - recommendations! Totally awesome!

This was just as represented. Clean, surprisingly spacious even when there were five of us for two days, nicely decorated, comfy beds and that amazing view of the caldera! We spent a lot of time on the porch exploring the area of Oia. We enjoyed some of the restaurants but often did take out because we felt that the porch was the best seat in the house for enjoying the glow of the sunset and the lights in the dark. Elizabeth was great, helping with transfers and every little thing. A lovely spot to while away some days in the glorious Greek sun!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Menia's cave. Harry and Elizabth were prompt in all correspondence and making sure we were well informed. Check in was smooth and the porter helped us with the luggage. We unfortunately had 4 bags so had to help with 2 of the bags which was understandable and doable (we have strapping 20-year-old boys) but something folks should be aware off if they have more luggage and may need more than one porter. The house is midway on the main Oia market stretch and probably halfway down the stairs which makes the location ideal. Very central. Lots of good restaurants close by. Sunset view just around the corner- though not from the house itself. Views from the porch of the caldera were spectacular. The house is cozy- 2 small bedrooms and a living room and kitchen. The second bedroom was too small for our two 20-year-olds so one used the bedroom and one the couch. But easily manageable. Only one bathroom (and we were aware of it) so that can be a challenge for some. Well equipped kitchen for making breakfast and tea/coffee. Elizabeth- the property manager was available on WhatApp and sent us things to do/places to visit/restaurants to try- and made bookings when we asked. Always available to help- not pushy-no commissions etc. Pure help! Parking in Oia is a bit of a challenge and we had some challenges here since we had a rental car and had to drive around a bit to find a place in some of the dusty/sandy parking lot. EXCELLENT OVERALL

The cave house is in a good location and the communication is good. Check in and out is easy and they provide help with luggage. The house itself is ok but needs a little better maintenance and cleaning.

We enjoyed staying in Menia’s Cabe House! Great location to everything and hard to beat the views! Would definitely stay here again.

Our lodging at Menia’s cave house is exactly the experience we were hoping for. Friendly porters carried our luggage down the many steps. Haris has arranged a crib for us, and then also came up with a high chair when asked. He even arranged a last minute sunset cruise for us. Trash was emptied and new towels were provided throughout the week. The view from the balcony is spectacular!

Excellent experience . This is the type of accommodation that you come to Santorini for , great view in the best part of the island . Very good communication re check in and check out and port airport transfers . Comfortable beds and well equipped cave house

We couldn't be happier with our four-night stay at this cave house in Oia. Our property manager, Zaf (sp?) was so friendly and accommodating. The house is as described in the ad, and the pictures are 100% accurate. We had such a wonderful time, and staying in the heart of Oia was key to that. We hope to be back one day!

My family loved our stay here. The cave house is lovely and an adventure for the kids. The view was incredible. Zaf, the manager, was fantastic-answering any question, chatting and making arrangements for us.

We loved our stay here! Sitting out the front balcony at sunrise taking in the unbelievably beautiful uninterrupted views and watching sailing boats and cruise ships slowly make their way close to the island was a highlight. The location of the cave house is perfect, a short walk to the main shopping area but away from the masses (day cruise ship guests). The cave house was very tastefully decorated, the kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the jacuzzi was appreciated by our teenage daughters! Harris, Zaf and the team made our experience stress-free and easy, organising transport to Oia and then a very early morning trip to the airport. I would highly recommend Menia’s Cave House – it is spectacular! We’re still pinching ourselves that we were actually there!

Words can’t describe how beautiful this place is. Perfectly situated, the apartment had everything we needed. Just a note for future guests - one room has a queen bed and the other a full, so if you’re traveling with four you’ll have to note you want extra bedding for the couch, or two will have to share the full. Zaf was our point person and he was super nice and super helpful, arranging a number of things for us. Absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back some day!

We absolutely LOVE this place! The location is great and the view us unbelievable. We were greeted by Zaf and crew who ran our luggage from the parking lot to our room without any hesitation. He also helped us find great places to eat and hang out in while in Oia. We actually ran into him at one of the places he recommended so we felt his recommendations were genuine and not driven by kickbacks. Not only that but the food was amazing! My wife and I loved sitting on the veranda and just relaxing with a beverage. You can see the entire island from this spot. When it was time to leave we had a very early flight so I was expecting to take the luggage myself - nope, there was someone there promptly at the crack of dawn to run the luggage back to our car. We really enjoyed this property and can't wait to come back.

We arranged for pickup with Zaf and his crew from and too airport. Went without a hitch. They carried the bags to and from cave house—thankfully! Wonder views and experience. Thanks

I traveled with 4 other friends, and we really couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Santorini. The location is great, the views are unreal, and the host and property manager were beyond wonderful. They helped us with airport transportation as well as set up a boat tour and wine tour. Every recommendation they gave exceeded expectations and they made the entire stay so easy! (And we were very glad to not have to rent a car!). The house is clean, had AC to keep cool, and we really enjoyed the balcony. You will have a great experienc here!

This cave house’s quiet, calming minimalist aesthetics combining with all upscale modern comfort made it a wonderful & unforgettable experience. My friend & I each had our own bedroom which was great for a 5-night stay. Right from the balcony, we so enjoyed the incredible views of the caldera, the boats, the rest of the surrounding islands, & the wonderful architecture & churches hugging the steep terrain that made Oia so famous. We didn’t cook but appreciated the high end kitchen appliances & the convenience of an equipped small kitchen. Loved the bathroom too! The owner Haris was really responsive & arranged a great shuttle transporting us from the ferry port & to the airports, not to mention the absolutely necesssry & wonderful porters to carry our big luggages between the shuttles & the cave house. Manager Zaf helped us settled in & was very kind spending ample time to give us lots of great suggestions. Beautiful island, beautiful people!

We absolutely loved it here, especially the fantastic view. We spent many hours eating meals or drinking wine on the patio just to take it in as much as we could. On top of that, the property manager Giannis was incredibly helpful - whatever I asked for, he took care of immediately, arranging transfers from the ferry and to the airport for us, and getting us a driver to take us on a private wine tour (for what ended up being a better price than any other tours I looked into.) It was great not to have to worry about a thing during our stay. My only regret about our trip is that we didn't stay for more days. This was a great way to experience Santorini.

This house looks just the the photos! It is several flights of stairs down from the Main Street with access to all of Oia within walking distance. Our two couples travel together often and found the cave house comfortable for us all. Haris stayed in touch about the booking and the house manager arranged airport pick up and helped us with baggage to the house on arrival and departure. We loved Santorini, especially the restaurants! We were at the end of the tourist season so a few places had closed. It was great being there without the summer crowds and it was still warm enough to swim.

I heavily researched where to stay in Santorini. Menia’s Cave House was remarkable. The views were spectacular!! The location was perfect and the host and staff were wonderful. Look no further if you plan to stay in OIA, this is your place. I can’t recommend it more enthusiastically, you won’t be disappointed!!

I couldn’t have asked for a better location or more hospitality from the host. We were picked up at the airport, our bags were carried to the cave house and check in was a breeze. It was wonderful to spend the evenings with our own private caldera view. Book it...you won’t regret it!

Absolutely perfect place to stay in santorini! The cave house is lovely with so much charm and breathtaking views all around you. The host was easy to work with and communicates with you quickly during the booking stage and right through your stay. The property manager "freedom" as he is called, is awesome. So helpful from checking you in to suggestions for your stay. Arranged for rental car etc. I highly recommend this property ! So sad to leave

Pictures do not do the view from Menia's porch justice! We felt taken care of from the time we arrived to the time we left. Zaf was able to book us both a last minute sunset sail on the Barbarossa (charter sailboat for 8) and a culinary experience at Domaine Signallis. He also recommended a few fantastic places to dine within Oia. (Really, it's difficult to find a bad meal in Greece.) Cleaning staff came everyday and the property is well looked after. Would recommend.

We were in awe of the view we would enjoy for our stay in the cave house from the moment arrived. Zaf met us near the post office and led us the house. We had to pay attention to the path that we walked so we could retrace our step to navigate around. But, this is part of the fun of staying in a cave house in Oia. Zaf also spent some time with us to tell us about some things to do in and around Oia. The cave house is perfect for relaxing over the sea and watching sail boats and seagulls go by. We spent time eating and drinking wine on the patio too. This is a must. This is a pretty quiet spot to be on the hillside area. Other places further up the hill are close to picture takers and not as good as this property. Oia is a photographers dream. We had rented a car at the airport and drove to Oia. It is a good drive and we got a chance to see the countryside. We also drove to the southern side of the island to see the sights there and along the way, including dining in a couple of restaurants in Vlichada Beach, To Psaraki and a tiny one by the docks that we can’t remember the name. Something you can’t to if you don’t get a car. Well worth the time and effort. We decided to do a five hour sunset sail with the Barbarossa and we loved it. Experiencing the caldera from the water is highly recommended. We sailed/motored from Oia to past the light house on the southern end of the island. Everything about the sail was wonderful. Catering and drinks included. We were also picked up at the post office and dropped off there after the sail. We walked the path from Oia to Fira on our last full day in Oia. Fantastic views of the culdera. Do not hesitate to rent this fantastic cave house. Zaf will help you with things to do, the views are out of this world, the location is quiet and peaceful, the food is great no matter what your budget, and activities are numerous and close. The only thing that we wished was better about the house was that the hot tub is nearly impossible to fill up and use. The hot water runs out before the tub is even one third full.

Menia's cave house was exactly what we wanted in our stay at Santorini. The view is beyond compare and weather in October was excellent. We were happy to be able to stay in one of the traditional cave houses, this one fully modernized and comfortable. We enjoyed the cauldron-edge walk from Imerovigli to Oia recommended by our host and were amazed by the archaeological site at Akrotini and Museum of Prehistoric Thera in Fira. Our hosts arranged a taxi from and to the airport and carried our luggage to and from the house. Otherwise we used a fine bus service and saw a lot of the island. The recommended restaurants were excellent and reasonably priced. We especially liked Melitini in Oia and Selene in Pyrgos. We will definitely reserve here again when visiting Santorini and recommend it highly.
