About this house rental
Welcome to our charming and adorable 1900 craftsman bungalow. It has been completely remodeled and updated from top to bottom, and has the charm of an old home with the modern conveniences of a new one. Just 2 minutes to town and the lake, and a short drive to apple orchards, pumpkin patches and the finger lakes wine trails. There is also a nature trail and playground in walking distance as well as a brewery and distillery. Perfect for families or couples. We have a great sitting area on the porch to watch the sunrise and outdoor eating area in the backyard equipped with grill to enjoy the sunset. The home is equipped with cable, wifi, smart tv's to access netflix and amazon prime, and games and books for adults and kids. There are 2 bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds. We know you will enjoy being here as much as we do!

Beautiful & tranquil styling, but needs maintenance. This home is so cute and beautifully styled! The layout was perfect for my post-surgery recovery; the center bedroom has a lower bed frame which was a lifesaver. The property is beautifully landscaped, and the backyard is an absolute tranquil, perfect place to allow your body to heal (adding a seating area out back would be a great bonus). The house also felt very safe and secure.However, there are several maintenance and cleanliness issues: * **Windows & Privacy:** Most windows are broken and will completely fall in on you if you try to open them. We could only safely open two. The blinds were also broken. The beautiful glass front door lacks privacy; a curtain would be great since it’s a busy street. * **Odors & Cleanliness:** There was a strong musty smell from the basement humidifiers, masked by a scent machine that was overwhelming. Because we couldn't open the windows, it took two days for the smell to clear after we unplugged it. There were cobwebs on the living room and bathroom ceilings, and the older appliances/oven were not clean.Overall, we really enjoyed the property and its healing vibe, but it definitely needs a deep clean and some structural repairs to reach its full potential.

The property was very clean and organized upon entrance. Met are family needs quite nicely. Plenty of towels and linens. Nice open floor plan. Decorated very nice. We brought a boat for fishing ample room to park truck and boat. Close to town and interesting shops. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was adorable, clean and close to town. The only challenge for us, which was a big one was that the bathroom was located inside the bedroom that our teenager was sleeping in. So at 2am, we had to creek open the door and wake him up to go to the bathroom. If this had been advertised I would not have booked the property.
