Come to our condo in Paradise..The MAUNA LOA SHORES is on the ocean in HILO; an exceptional town with plenty to do here on the east side of our beautiful island. The Beach Park next door where you can swim with sea turtles is a once in a life experience. My 49 years as a resident and 46 years as a Realtor here will insure you know where to go and what to do to make it the perfect stay.
Listen to the gentle sounds of the Pacific. Spectacular Views, Total amenities, Next to condo is super park with EZ ocean access; Carlsmith Beach Park, where you can swim with Sea Turtles!!! Fantastic. You will love this condo for your Big Island stay. Full amenities, beautiful. Mauna Loa Shores is now solar powered electric for ECO friendly stay. Ten times better than any of the Hilo Hotels. Popular Mauna Loa Shores condo.. One of the better view units in the bldg. Our condo is your gateway to all Hilo and the Big Island has to offer. Volcano viewing, nature at its finest, whale watching here from Nov-March. Hilo Farmers market, so much more.

The property was clean and easy to check into. Had all the cooking utensils one might need. Loved the access to Carlsmith park. The bed is very firm. I have back issues so found it uncomfortable. Also the street is noisy in the evenings, so bring earplugs, as bedroom is on street side. Of note check out time is 10am , so take it into consideration if not an early riser.

The apartment was clean and everything inside was working as it should. Great location next to a nice tide pool area where snorkeling was possible. The building common areas were not ideal, and the pool needs a good cleaning, but for the money the location and condition of the apartment was a good value.

The condo was certainly satisfactory. Really only issue was the pool is not that great and it was freezing. There was no smoke detector, which my 4 year old grandson noticed. The location was very good.
