We had a great stay here over 3 days. We even brought our dog with us which was what made us stay here. Beds were comfy. Everything was very clean. Plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. We ate at the Old Princeton Landing which was about a 3 minute walk and went to the dawn patrol coffee place literally around the corner in the morning. Loved the ease of it all! Dog friendly beach just a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend!

The weather was rainy and windy, but I couldn’t think of a better place to stay and enjoy the coast! The radiant heated floors, fireplace, deep soak bathtub, loft with 180 degree views, and well equipped kitchen made our stay wonderful in so many ways. We are thankful, and look forward to coming back again.

Yes! We love traveling with our dogs. This was the perfect place in the best location! We took the dogs for many walks around town and on the beach. Many places to stop and have cocktails or beer and have our dogs with us on the many outdoor patios. Beautiful, comfortable home!

A fantastic place for our stay-cation!Large family living space with deck overlooking Pillar Point. Great kitchen for making family meals or dine at Mezza Luna a block away. Private Master King bedroom with full bath, loft with two Kings & Twin bed. Convenient extra toilet one floor down. Just a short walk to dog friendly beach for sunrise or sunset!Ab was a great host & easy to communicate with. We’ll be back!!!

The house is lovely, stocked kitchen. Only minuses are one bathroom and ocean view is only from the sides. Hotel is right in front of deck so no straight on ocean view. But still enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

My friends and I stayed to celebrate our 50th birthdays and we loved everything about the place! It was clean, well decorated, the perfect location and there were nice touches and amenities throughout. The owner was super kind and responsive, and was really flexible about our check-in/out time. Overall, an excellent experience!

This property was wonderful. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. If you have an older dog, please be aware there are a lot of steps to the upstairs apartment. Very quiet and perfect weekend!

This is a great rental. The owner was great, easy to communicate with and very responsive. The view from the deck is amazing, the kitchen, dining room and living room layout was awesome. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need including a lot spices, salt and pepper grinders, etc. All the beds were very comfortable, master bedroom and lofts have plenty of space. All pictures for this listing are very accurate except the view is more spectacular than the pictures on the site. Location s also great as we were walking distance to the Maverick's House (wedding ceremony) and to several nearby restaurants and bars. We highly recommend this rental. We plan on staying here again.

we booked this rental for the boy half of our wedding party! our wedding was a friday and we booked the place wed - sat for the the groomsman to stay (this location was next door to our venue). we ended up needing to book an extra night (tues) and ab was more than accommodating! was thoughtful and communicative and even dropped off some bagels for the gang. we did have the entire wedding party over for dinner thursday and were a bit loud, which caused a bit of an issue. we responded promptly to his concerns and it felt like things were resolved. the space itself is gorgeous, with natural light and more than enough space. looks out on the water, seamless to get in an out of, and ideal location. would recommend this vrbo to any responsible, respectful group (:

The Captain's Quarters exceeded our expectations. The layout and design of the house is perfect to take advantage of the location which has wonderful views to the harbor and surrounding hills. The home although large and spacious feels very warm and welcoming. We didn't want to leave.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious for a family of 4 and possibly up to 6 or 8 even. Ab was a wonderful host, friendly, communicative. It was lovely waking up to the sea lions and pelicans and sounds of the waves lapping on the shore. Good easy biking nearby and plenty of beaches to explore. The harbor is perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding too. We didn't want to leave!!

We had such a great weekend here! There were several restaurants that had patio or indoor dining, and all had take out. We hiked up to Pillar Point Bluff and enjoyed a picnic at the top. The home is very cozy. It was spotless! The attention to detail was everywhere. The decor is well thought out. And it's comfortable. You can spread out and not be bumping into each other like in a hotel room. The couch was a little too soft for my back, but that is minor. It was really great to hang out on it and watch TV, play a game, or read. The kitchen is set up to prepare a full meal, or, like us, make our coffee and tea (provided) in the morning. The bathroom is thoughtful and the shower is really nice. The pressure was good. We slept so well with the high quality bedding and excellent mattress. We had a few things we didn't love, but it didn't take away from the great time we had. The view - while the water is so close and is viewed from the patio, there is a building directly in front of the home which is in front of you if you're sitting outside on the patio. Not private, but that was okay with us. We knew before we reserved the space this would be the case, but the upside is the water is so close and it is visible from all the windows. And the toilet paper was one-ply. The whole space consists of high-end, expensive furniture, appliances, and decor, so the one-ply doesn't belong in such a nice place. And lastly, the wifi was very slow. We tried to watch the musical, Hamilton, on TV, and couldn't, which was unfortunate, but not the end of the world. We would definitely stay at Captain's Quarters again. And Ab was communicative and prompt. Thanks for letting us stay at CQ!

This vacation rental was really nice. The house was really clean and had everything you would need for your stay. There was only a couple down falls. One being we had read about the seals barking all night but did not read any mention of the horn that went off all night and into the morning every 60 seconds. My kids and I have never slept so poorly. We had someone follow us on the beach and one of the neighbors yelled at us because of dog mess that had been left from previous animals(some of which was ours we had only been there not even 12 hours) The owner of the property were very nice and accommodating.

Very comfortable & clean! View of Pillar Point was enjoyable...especially for seal watching. Seal barking was not intrusive...at all, added to the charm! Exceptionally well stocked kitchen! Owner had bagels, cream cheese, coffee, & cream waiting for us! Wish list: second bathroom; lamp in living room; rug or some sort of lighting the stairs down from the loft; more patio furniture. We actually used the grill & would have enjoyed eating out on the deck ;). The online pics were representative of the condo space. The Half Moon Bay Area was quaint...so fun! We ate at Sam’s Chowder House, Mezza Luna, & Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. We bought groceries at the Sav-a-lot grocery store 15 minutes away. Truly a memorable experience!

We had a great weekend getaway at the Captains Quarters. The home was in a perfect location to walk to dinner and Mavericks beach was only about a mile away. We could watch some sea lions from the balcony. The property was beautiful and well kept. High quality linens and beautiful decor. I would recommend this place as a stop along the PCH. Or as a little getaway near Half Moon Bay.
