The driveway could be a real challenge. Our extended length SUV had a tough time getting into the drive but no problems once clear of the street. The driveway didn't effect us much since we planned to walk everywhere with very few side trips out of town. Not a good plan if you're not in decent shape though.GPS took us to the next house down which caused a couple minutes' confusion. Thanks to Cabin Rentals of Helen staff for helping us resolve that. We also had to recover a delivery from that home as well.The cabin was very clean, well equipped, centrally located to everything in Helen. Would recommend bringing paper products, storage containers, foil, wrap, if doing lots of food prep at the unit. We used the grill and hot tub on multiple occasions, and both worked very well. Spent much of the time when we are at the cabin on the deck. Upper deck had two rocking chairs and could have used some additional seating. Lower deck had plenty of seating.

It was a wonderful place. Walking distance to town. Pretty and nice hot tub. Only note to others: the incline on driveway is extremely steep! We had a hard time getting up, or burned rubber on tires trying to. Scraped front bottom of car leaving.And if you have heart or lung issues. Well… it’s a climb coming back from town. Just know that.

Wish the fireplace was on. It was 41 degrees one morning in May. Also wish there had been instructions for hot tub. We accidentally put it in sleep mode and it dropped in temperature.

We really enjoyed the cabin. Unfortunately we couldn't get out much because of the rain, it rained every day we were there. All the plugs on the first floor need replacing, none of them worked except for 2. The microwave vent and the hot tub both need cleaning. We could only use the hot tub the first night as it stunk. Also the tv upstairs had a really bad connection, we could hardly watch any movies on netflix. One night we just gave up because it was taking too long, we ended up just listening to music on our computers.
