About this house rental
Custom built home on a beautifully landscaped parcel a short walk from the ocean. This is a two story house that has a master bedroom, guest bedroom, a large master bath (with solar hot water shower), a professionally equipped kitchen, a living room area and a large wrap around covered deck. In 2021 a deep and refreshing dipping pool was added to the deck area. The pool is perfect for kids to play with supervision and has a large bench area to sit in the water and have a beverage of choice watching the monkeys pass overhead. Upstairs has an open floor plan with a large yoga space, a king size bed, a roll out queen bed, a sofa bed, and a full bath. The upstairs also has a covered deck hammock area, an open air space for viewing the night sky, and both a sofa bed and a roll out queen bed that can be used to accommodate larger groups. The home is located in the center of the property and offers living fence privacy and abundant wildlife viewing. Four species of monkeys can be seen from the comfort of the hammock. All types of birds visit the various fruit trees daily. The gardens are mature with fruit and herbs and foraging is encouraged.

Everything was perfect! We loved the open air rooms, waking to the bird calls and bellows from the howler monkeys. Showering outside while watching toucan, macaws, and spider monkeys in the trees above was an experience I will treasure forever. As for the home, our jungle stay was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are covered with mosquito netting to prevent insects at night from joining your slumber. We loved returning to the property in the afternoons after long hikes or beach days and throwing open all the doors, resting in the hammocks and rocking chairs and using the pool to cool off all while watching the abundant wildlife cross through the property. Our stay here was simply magical. We love Mil Flores and hope to return again in the near future.

Amazing rental house! We found ourselves sitting on the porch and enjoying the pool even more than we expected because it was so relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. We loved the location and being able to walk to the beach, surf at Playa Pan Dulce, and have lunch at Martina's.

We thoroughly enjoyed the open-air, super clean, well-appointed and spacious home in the jungle. our host stopped by to check on us, and we had a sloth, macaws and other wildlife checking in and entertaining.

Our family spent a week at this amazing location! Michelle & Gretchen were both very responsive and friendly. Creatures galore..we loved the monkey migration each morning but there's so much more than that. Bring your binoculars! Kitchen well equiped. Dipping pool was great! Staying in an open-air house off grid may not be for everyone but we would do it again for sure! Thanks for sharing your place with our family and giving us lasting memories.
