Charming 5-bedroom, 2-bath home facing west on Grindstone Lake. Shorter stays available anytime! Grindstone is one of Hayward's premier clear water destinations, with great fishing and water activities. Beautiful sunsets are a delight with the westerly exposure. On the main floor you have 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, dining area, one full bath, and a living room. The home also has a full lower level with a TV family room, 2 additional bedrooms, (with egress windows), washer, dryer, and a second bathroom. Great place for the kids to hang out. Located ten miles SE Hayward, and five miles from the casino, making many activities close at hand.

This cabin had just enough to get by but all the little things missing added up. We had no hot pads in the kitchen. When we received the house the paddle boat was full of water. Thankfully a neighbor helped us dump the water out and the kids had a blast on it. Trash had to be taken to a near by resort for disposal which was an inconvenience since we didn’t plan to leave the cabin. My husband and me slept in the downstairs bedroom and was woken up nightly by the water pipe system that is just blocked off by a curtain… a wall added there would be a huge upgrade. We made the best of it and overall enjoyed our stay. The basement was cozy (besides that bedroom) and provided extra living space. The steps leading to the dock was nice and the dock was in great condition.
