Beautiful Oceanfront Condo- Crescent Shores - Privately Owned and Maintained

The place is very clean and the location is perfect!

Condo was great. We loved the location. We needed an extra parking pass when a friend decided to come and the hosts were quick to accommodate us.

The cleanliness of the condo was super. It was beautifully decorated and well stocked kitchen was a plus ! It was wonderful !!

We stayed at this property from 9/1-9/8/22. There were no instructions about which tower you are in, how to unload, and that you have to park across the street, be advised, We entered the property during an electricity outage, no lights, no AC, it was a very hectic time working to keep children from overheating and trying to unpack via cell phone lights. Owner I formed us of the blackout but no apologies. Drawers in one dresser, certainly not of high quality, were not fitting into the dresser properly, but did function, and a chair rail trim piece was loose (we kept the kids away from that area during our stay). We just needed to get unpacked, feed the children, and get them outside to the pool to cool off. We didn't complain, we just worked with these things, we didn't inspect this property with a fine toothed comb in the darkness, and we didn’t sign the paper left on a counter that said everything was in working order. We had to clean up confetti from the previous guest and search for a lost toy after the power came on. To find the toy, we had to lift the couches to retrieve said toy and were grossed out by the dirt, candy, and crumbs left behind. We even found a pink pacifier from a previous guest. Again, we did not say anything to the owner, we just were content to use the property and not pick it apart. The check out time is very early, 9 AM, we cleared everything out, were required to strip the beds and we locked the door and let them know we had left early for their housekeeping staff to go in early. We were told that their housekeepers said we broke the drawers and that trim piece and were charged a lot. This is from the overly observant housekeeping staff that left all that confetti and food/crumbs/ toys under the couches and missed the fact that the drawers were not fitting into the dresser nor that the trim was loose on their cleaning trip before we arrived. Be advised that this might happen to you. Take photos of everything, and complain a lot, I guess, to protect yourself from charges that you cannot defend against after you leave. We have multiple adult witnesses to the broken drawers and trim and are disputing this claim with VRBO. As of right now, the Tierneys have already charged our credit card two times for this. Back to using rental companies like we have for the last 10 years, we never had anything like this happen and we always travel with family and children. I am amazed and sad that our vacation ended this way.
