The property is absolutely beautiful. Tucked away just a short drive from some local stores. Very close to breath taking hiking near Mt Hood and only 45 mins from PDX. Firepit outside, working grill, full kitchen minus a dishwasher. Washer and dryer and shower / bathtub with good water pressure. Dog friendly as well with extra Leashes hanging near door and fence around side yard. Down sides. Craftsman style construction with low ceilings. If you are over 6 foot tall you will be hunched over in the shower, on the way to the kitchen, going up the stairs, and getting into the A-Frame styled loft bed. Also, with it being very dog friendly, it smells of dog and dog urine throughout the lower level. There are also some darker stains on the carpet in the living room that I could only assume we're from previous accidents. Could use some new carpeting or just carpet removal to show off the beautiful hardwood floors. Also, oddly, there were no blinds in the windows in the kitchen area. This was a little unsettling at night time as you can't see out of the windows with the lights on but anything outside can see right in. It also attracts all of the night time bugs trying to get in to the light. Overall for the price, this cabin is a pretty okay stay. Biggest plus is location, seclusion, firepit, wood stove.

Great quiet cabin in beautiful scenery

Well appointed, comfortable furniture/bed clean. See above. There are some eccentricities that do not come through in the pictures. The bedroom is in the loft it has a ceiling clearance of about 5'8" i'm 6 foot and hit my head in the bedroom on the rafter at the top of the stairs and in the shower downstairs. Once I was aware it was okay for a short stay. The stairs to the loft are narrow and steep. And to step up from the loft to the bedroom, this is about two feet. The ten a m check out time was an inconvenience, I knew about it when I booked so this is more of a recommendation to go to an 11 am checkout. I consider all of the above minor inconveniences when compared to the seclusion, quaintness, cleanliness of the rental. I would highly recommend Oberon's cabin to those who wish to get away from it all and spend time together.

Loved how cozy it was , very comfortable bed and pillows, great fireplace. Broken washer and blinds hard to open/ close

The property was in a very nice area near Mt Hood and very secluded as advertised. The only issue we had with place was the bedroom in loft and bathroom. Both of which are not meant for people with mobility issues or taller than 6ft. The loft had over a 24-inch step up to access the room. That seems like a very easy fix to add a step into room. The upstairs would still be challenging even with that modification due to steep, narrow staircase and angles of ceiling. I am just under 6ft, and my head touched the ceiling, and the shower head was at about my neck. Also, a deep tub to step in. It is a nice place but those booking with issues I mention should be aware of those challenges.

I LOVED the little crick in the back yard with the two chairs and table🥰💕🦋 that was my absolute favorite

I rented this cabin for a weekend getaway with my dog, and it was great! Very serene, really nice property, and I loved that my dog had so much fenced in area to wander around off leash. Like others said, the ceiling is pretty low in some spots, but even though I am tall, it didn’t bother me much. The home is also closer to a main road than I expected, but again, didn’t bother me much (and made it easy to find). All in all I highly recommend this place!
