About this house rental
This beautiful historic home is the perfect place for your family reunion, event or long-term getaway. Its high ceilings, wood floors, skylights, large windows, wood-burning fireplaces, and a huge kitchen/living room area makes it ideal for group sessions, gatherings and entertainment.
The house and grounds of more than 1 acre offer abundant locations for quiet time, not to mention that the property is next to The Cerro Gordo Park, which we recommend for an afternoon stroll while taking in the view of the mountains.
Upon entering the home you encounter a large living room completed with a fireplace, western elegant furniture and large floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the beautiful surroundings. The open kitchen is right in the middle of the space, followed by the dining table, a great room and a second fireplace. The open plan design is perfect for entertaining and formal meals.
The high sculptured ceilings keep it cool in the summer and radiant heating keeps it cozy in the winter. Cable TV and WiFi are available for your convenience.
There is plenty of private parking in the 100-yard long driveway or under the 2-car carport, all inside the gated property.
A total of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 indoor fireplaces and generous sitting space indoors and outdoors. All bedrooms have direct access to outdoor areas. The master bedroom has a large bathroom, walk-in closet and a wood burning fireplace.
Rental requires a 30-day minimum.
Master Bedroom #1: King size bed, fireplace, in-suite bathroom with shower, walk-in closet, flat screen TV, wood floors and doors to patio.
Bedroom #2: Queen size bed, jack and jill bathroom with bathtub, closet, flat screen TV, slate floors and french doors to patio.
Bedroom #3: Full size bed, slate floors and private entrance.

We could not have had a more enjoyable stay. This home exceeded our expectations - both large and intimate. There are three + separate living quarters for our family with two masters (three adult couples had complete privacy). The great room is truly great with a killer kitchen and wonderful locations to entertain. We were there for the month of august to sell art. Our clients and friends loved the home as well.
Our favorite part may have been the outdoor areas. The areas flowed seamlessly with the interior and the views are spectacular. The fire pit was used often! Morning, afternoon and evening, the mountains views are expansive and untouched. It is hard to believe this setting exists only five minutes from the plaza.
We will be back next year if the lovely owner will have us!!!!

Wow this house is more beautiful in person than you could ever imagine. The moment we walked into the great room our jaws dropped, we were so impressed.
The house is comfortable and calming, the perfect retreat space. It's just a 5-10min drive from Canyon Rd. and the plaza, but remote enough to feel private and quiet. There is also a few outdoor spaces to relax under the shade of a tree or by the fire pits.
