Idle Days is a beautiful remodeled home on Rock Creek. It has amazing views of rock formations and the open water. The home is located in a quiet area that is very relaxing. Enjoy the screened porch with lots of seating. You can swim in the very deep, clear water, jump from the top of the 2 story dock or lounge in the water. Endless options for a relaxing getaway or a full day of playing. 3 levels of decks with chairs to provide endless lake viewing options. You can dine outside on the screened porch or on the deck with a large dinning table. The house has approximately 3,200 square feet of centrally heated and cooled living area. The house features four bedrooms, four bathrooms. 2 levels of living including main and lower level fully equipped Kitchens and Living areas with large flat screen TVs. Both levels have an open floor plan with combined Living, Dining and Kitchen areas. Main Level has full sized washer and dryer in large Laundry room with laundry detergent provided. 2 Master Bedrooms on the main level both have attached bathrooms. One additional large bedroom is also located on the main level with the bathroom across the hall. 4th Bedroom is located on the lower level with a large bathroom across the hall. This is a great place for kids with easy access to the game area with a Foosball table, games and a dart board (magnetic). The main level open living area is large and can accommodate multiple families comfortably with seating at the kitchen island, seating for 8 at the dinning room table, a large sectional couch and an additional sitting area all in the same open room with fabulous views of the lake. There is a covered single slip boat dock if you decide to bring a boat. The dock has power and lights. The power to the dock can be shut off. There are approximately 40-45 steps from the deck to the dock walkover. This is average for Smith Lake. We are located in between Rock Creek Marina and Duskin Point Marina for convenient gas fill ups. This lake home provides everything you need for your vacation getaway. Linens, beach towels, life vests, laundry soap, utensils, pots, pans, small kitchen appliances and even some pantry items (sugar, flour, spices) and the owners strive to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. The town of Arley's main street is less than 10 minutes away and has a fabulous grocery store that also makes their own biscuits and out of this world croissants. They have a deli where you can call in and pre-order delicious smoked chicken and BBQ ribs. They also have pizza, deli items, sides and desserts for any size group.
