About this house rental
Your stay at this charming beach home will include bed and bath linens, with beds freshly made upon arrival and departure cleaning included, too. The perfect setting for your family reunion and other gatherings; it's located only 2 short blocks to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. An ice cream and hot dog stand with sidewalk seating just on the next corner, a giant beach store, and Molly Darcy's Irish Pub for lunch or happy hour on the ocean front sun deck, all just a block away.
Great family reunion or group space with a small private pool to dip when you have had enough of the sand. Parking for 4 vehicles but may be tight if all are large SUV type. The city does offer a dozen or so local "street" parking spaces within the immediate block area, but none of these can be guaranteed, because it's first come first serve basis for beach goers.
KITCHEN: Lower level only with granite counter tops, new cabinets, full-sized appliances, and abundant dishware for cooking a great dinner at the beach. Dining seating is just off the kitchen.

A few miles South is Barefoot Landing with over 100, specialty shops, beach stores, restaurants, breweries and attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Stroll thru this beautifully landscaped complex, and shop for jewelry, clothing, accessories, lots of beach items, and more!
Playgrounds and the Alligator Adventure will thrill kids of all ages, with alligator feeding times, hands-on reptile shows, and 11 acres of wildlife viewing. The Alabama Theater offers live theater productions every day of the week (in season), with talent nothing short of Broadway! The Carolina Opry, and Pirates Voyage, also has great family oriented shows. House of Blues packs in great concerts and outdoor band entertainment almost every night of the week.
A short 20 minute drive to Myrtle Beach offers Broadway at the Beach, our answer to a Boardwalk. This huge area offers places to shop, eat, celebrate & play. The house was clean and nice size to fit the entire family. Loved the 3 or 4 min walk to the beach and pool at house. I enjoyed how many places there were in walking distance. Our beach access had banana boating and parasailing which the family was able to enjoy both! The beach was nice and not overcrowded on the right side where we rented chairs with umbrellas. We walked to get ice cream, lunch, the souvenir shop, convenience store, and mini golf all which were a hit. Overall we had a great week and enjoyed working with owner direct vacation rentals who were very friendly and helpful.

The home was nice, it was in a great location. All the bedrooms with the exception of the king room to the left as you enter the home were nice. I did not feel that the home was very clean. I understand there are people in and out on a regular basis, but I felt it could have been cleaner. There were no bathmats in the one bathroom, limited hooks and bars for towels. We loved the pool at the home.

Property was not good for families with young children. We had 14 people (6 adults) for a family reunion. The sinks clogged frequently, the dryer broke and was not fixed and looked way too small for the house size to begin with. The property managers tried their best giving new towels every few days but with children we really needed a washer and dryer. The pool was great and it is a very short walk to the beach. The dining table in the kitchen was an outdoor table with outdoor patio chairs, the place could use an upgrade on furniture. I would not recommend this place for a family vacation. I would recommend the property management company and will work with them to find a place for next year.
