We rented this house in May of 2021 & it was very accessible to everything & everywhere we go, plus we had a garage to keep our motorcycles at night & during the rain we had, we will be back for another stay in May 2023 we're already making plans for next year, I have spoken with Mr.Stoltz the owner & he is a very nice host & is always concerned that we have a good stay, he is very accessible to you anytime you need him, great host to deal with, the drive way was not a problem to ride our bikes up, thanks for letting us stay again, see you next year.

The cabin was Hugh, the older adults stayed on the bottom floor and the younger adults stays on the upper floor. The best of two worlds. The home was very clean and meet all are needs. we were grateful that we were able to bring our pet. Would highly recommend this cabin.

Comfort, location, view was all perfect. Came for a trip to the tail of the dragon, and only went once, spent more time in home than originally planned.

I loved were the cabin was. It brought back wonderful memories of growing up in the country. The cabin was so comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed our stay. Came up for a motorcycle trip and the house was everything we needed. It is a little older but there were no issues, water pressure was great and the house was very clean. Would definitely recommend it.

House was very clean and well stocked with some kitchen and bathroom basics. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax after a day of hiking.

We had a great time at Dogwood Ridge! We were able to use the property and visit different hiking trails around the area. It was also a close drive to Asheville for a quick day of site seeing. The home is very well equipped, best stocked VRBO I’ve ever been to, in fact. The beds were comfy and the ping pong table received lots of use. Our favorite part of the house was by far the back porch. Nothing like coffee and a babbling brook! We hope to visit again sometime. Thanks for a great stay!

owner was very good to deal with, we had no problem riding our motorcycles up to the house, the first day & a half we were rained out from riding but we just hung around the house & relaxed, it was nice to have a garage to park our bikes in to keep them out of the rain, house location is convenient to Robbinsville, Cherahola Skyway , tail of the dragon, & many other good roads for riding motorcycles, the house is very well equipped all you have to bring is your food, it was the best kitchen for any rental I have ever used I told the owner we will definitely stay again next year.

The place where we stay had some issues, but was about to work them out with owner, it had lots of room , the owner was a very nice guy, I would stay there again!

if you are looking for nature and wilderness, this home exactly matches your search. Surrounded by woods and rivers on a small secondary road. Calm, silence, green. Only noise is the river right in front of this huge chalet.

This home was very spacious and had wonderful views! Great to consider if you are traveling with family or a large group.

We absolutely loved staying here. Our only issue with the property was that it was a little outdated and had a musty smell in some rooms. The kitchen was very well stocked to our surprise, and the kids loved playing in the creek!

The facility was very clean and the kitchen best equipped of any VBRO stay. A tremendous amount of floor space. Everything worked well. The location was a little further from the Smokeys than I figured but that was my mistake. The Robbinsville Ingles had all we needed to purchase. All in all very comfortable and would stay again.

Beautiful home. Grandsons loved the creek and the basement! Very lovely home and nice to have things to cook with. We really enjoyed just relaxing and watching the boys have fun. Little far from Walmart but that was OK. Only thing didn't like was there was No cell phone service but at least we did have internet so could communicate thru fb messenger if needed to. We just loved the place and hated to leave. Sitting on the porch and just enjoying our time there. The owner was very nice and called to make sure everything was OK. Thank you so much for such a nice place to enjoy!!

We really enjoyed our week. It was so peaceful and relaxing,sitting on the porch watching the creek and feeling the breeze. The house is so roomy. You want have any service but the Wi-Fi helps, so you can connect to make calls and texts. The kitchen had everything you need to cook with. The beds was so comfortable we slept late every day. We enjoyed going to the casino. It's only 40 minutes away. Arrive in the day time, because no lights on the road and a lot of curves. My husband and friends didn't want to leave. We will be back. The house is nice and clean and everything works even though it hasn't been updated in quite a while. The dehumidifiers helped; they made some noise but not that bad. Great location, a very scenic front porch to relax on, and the ping pong table and paddles were in great condition. Beds were fairly firm; there was a bunk bed in the pictures/description that had been replaced by a single bed, so we had to make do with 1 less bed than advertised (The listing has been fixed already). The driveway is dirt/grass/gravel and was a little rutted; very low (modified) cars may struggle but it isn't too steep so it was navigable. Parking space was ample and the garage spaces were nice (can squeeze in 3 small cars, many more outside). The owner's information packet was thorough and helpful. Overall the house was nice and our vacation went well.

We just returned from a week stay at the Dogwood Ridge Mountain Home and I would likely recommend this house to anyone that just wants to have a nice quiet relaxing vacation away from it all. It has more than adequate space, and all the amenities you will need (except towels). There are only 6 bath towels for 3 bathrooms so if you need more you better bring them ahead of time because its several miles to town. The view is amazing and just what the doctor ordered for a relaxing time. Perfect for a family getaway. We stayed when the weather was extremely cold and this home was plenty warm for it's size. I hope we can come back someday and stay in the summer so the kids can play in the creek below. The creek and the barn with a fence around it below the house made the perfect back drop for family photos. Hope everyone had as good a time as we did. This house is centrally located to all the bigger towns like Bryson city, Franklin, Murphy & Maggie Valley. Looking forward to my next trip here with the family.

We loved the house and location. Stayed with my family and it worked great for us. Everything you could ever need was provided in the kitchen.Large dinning table for 8. Downstairs was perfect for the kids to have their own space. Plenty of seating in the living room. We never heard any noise from that area if we were down the hallway in the bedrooms. Loved the deep tub/shower in the main bathroom. Porch had the most amazing beautiful view. Quiet dead end street. We would defiantly return.

Overall I would say this is a decent place. I'll get right down to the positives and negatives for you. The front porch overlooking a small stream is absolutely the best place to have morning coffee. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean. We were in the area to ride motorcycles and really only used the house as a place to sleep however the owners do provide WiFi and if your family wanted a little quality time off from electronics, there is a ping pong table and board games provided. Now for the part I always dislike about reviews, the not so good. The house smelled very musty and stays damp. Our bedsheets felt damp at night because we had to leave the windows open to get cool air. The window units just don't keep the upstairs bedrooms cool enough. We had many uninvited house guests in the form of very large spiders. This property needs a professional exterminator to spray. For what we used it for, it was ok but the house needs some updates. The 70's shag carpet has a unique feel on bare feet...recommend you bring some house shoes or sandals. This is my first VRBO experience so I wasn't sure how this normally goes but we had to provide toilet paper and paper towels which I thought odd but maybe not, also need to bring extra bath towels. Overall, I would rent this place again for a guys trip but would consider other options if I were taking my family on vacation.

We went down for Miatas at the Gap. This was about 20 minutes from Fontana Village. The place was a little hard to find the mailbox/driveway due to grass but overall Google got us there. The place was clean and as described. Driveway is narrow with a sharp turn halfway up so you may not want to bring a trailer up there. Other than that was great place to set up camp. Would stay there again! Although we did not end up bringing our dog, we are always happy with such pet friendly places.

We truly enjoyed every bit of our time spent at Dogwood Ridge! From our morning coffee out on the balcony in the canopy of trees to the beautiful creek that the kids loved playing in... we enjoyed every bit of our time here!

We spent a week here in June 2018 and loved every minute of it! The house was more than adequate in size for the two of us and our pups and we loved how remote and quiet it was. The kitchen was very well supplied with everything we needed, including plastic storage containers! If we ever find a bed like the one in the master bedroom, we will have to buy it immediately because we both slept really well while we were there. We found plenty of great fishing in the area, spent lots of time sitting on the deck watching the hummingbirds and just relaxing, and even managed to squeeze in a trip to the casino in Cherokee. The location is centrally located to a lot of great entertainment of both indoor and outdoor varieties. Stores for staples were relatively close by and we found several great little restaurants in Robbinsville itself. We had one of our best vacations ever and we're already looking forward to next year!

We have stayed here several times, never disappoints. House is always clean and ready to use, we enjoy it everytime we go down. We will be staying again in May.
