About this house rental
A beautifully furnished and decorated antique home overlooking fields, woods, ponds and a vineyard. These peaceful surroundings create the perfect atmosphere for anyone seeking to escape the stress of everyday life. The house includes a spacious living room, five bedrooms, two full bathrooms and one half bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Throughout the house you will find hardwood floors, a large private back yard, and a screened porch perfect for a family meals or entertaining. Some AC units are the in house plus fans. Please note that we DO NOT have whole house central air. This house is located two miles from the beaches and two hundred yards from the center of town which has three churches, a grocery and liquor store, gift and surf shop, library, dry cleaners, pizza shop, local breakfast/lunch eatery, community center, playground, tennis and basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, real estate brokers, police/fire barn and town hall.

Our family had a wonderful week in Little Compton! The house was spacious, airy and clean. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The property is beautiful and within walking distance of the Coffee Cafe and general store The hosts were very friendly and attentive. We are hoping to return.

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The area is gorgeous, with a charming little down town and general store. The house has a fantastic kitchen and a sweet vintage feel to it. For folks who need or want modern mattresses, the older beds could be an issue, though they were not for us. It's a great house for a family or group gathering and we are so glad we went.

This was our third annual stay at Jenny’s home. The house is always immaculate with lots of charm and comfort. Our elementary age grand kids love the huge yard for playing soccer and whiffle ball. The setting in bucolic Little Compton is beautiful and relaxing. Thanks again, Jenny for a wonderful visit.

The listing says is AC, this was deceiving. There was no central AC. There are two window units: one in the living room and one bedroom out of 5. The entrance to the front door was dangerous with uneven stones and rocks (many tripping hazards). We also arrived at night with not a single light on. The bedrooms had a musty odor and mold on the master bedroom shower. The owner enter the house unannounced and without permission to close windows while teenagers are in the house who were scared to find a stranger on the 2nd floor. They have all our contact information and never called, this was very upsetting. The owner parked multiple cars in driveway making it difficult to maneuver cars in the driveway. The owner commented on lights been left on, windows and fans, which should not be restricted. It is summer time and hot, we didn't get a home that had the central air that we expected. Lastly, the property description didn't say that the owners live on the property.
