Terrible! Not a real hotel.

The people were nice when I got there.

The name made me think it was a hotel, but it was a room in a house masquerading as a hotel. It was extremely difficult to find because it had no sign and on a very busy street. The room was ice cold with no heat, there was no filtered water nor anyplace nearby to buy any. I simply left after one night despite paying for four. It was that uncomfortable.

Nice accommodations and thoughtfully stocked kitchen.

There were some issues with the airport shuttle and then there was a power outage at the location, but the host booked us an alternate room and reimbursed us for the taxi we had to get. All was resolved quickly and we were very grateful and pleased with how he went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of.

No complaints. There should be more people like him that actually cares about his guests. We are so glad we chose to stay at Casa Culhuac.

Ok, but not great. Grateful to have somewhere to stay this time

The availability of the host was good all the time by phone and in-person often enough.

The picture is deceiving as far as the location. There was not an exercising room, There was a was a picture of exercising room in their page. It felt like they weren't on top of their game generally talking. Not centric location.

Great place

Lucy is amazing! She helped me sort out a couple of problems I had. She can organise tours for you and recommend places to go, nothing is too much trouble and is always available. She is what makes this a special place! The hostel is relatively central, just a short walk from most places, quiet and clean. Kitchen facilities are great and the lounge is a comfortable space. There is also an outside area with chairs and tables.

Wonderful experience at Casa Culhuac!

I booked a room at Casa Culhuac by chance, and so very happy I did! I missed my flight and had to stay the night in Mexico City. Casa Culhuac's rate was the lowest/night and they even offered a free airport shuttle & breakfast- you can't beat that. My room was spacious and clean. Wifi signal was strong. The whole house was immaculate, well organized, and had beautiful works of Art. The host, Jaime, was very hospitable, polite, and very helpful. He makes wonderful breakfast and good strong coffee. Although Casa Culhuac offers a free Airport shuttle, for the low nightly rate I was paying and last-minute booking, I did not expect to be shuttled to the airport. Jaime however insisted and gave me a ride. Wonderful place with great customer service......Thank you!

Most helpful host. Incredible hospitality

Honestly i arrived at casa in bad shape.. Broken phone, had overstayed ny mexican visa and was anxious about my upcoming flight. The staff were unbelievably helpful. The owner drove me personally to the airport to sort the visa. And was a super cool guy with great stories . the hotel is clean and chilled. Perhaps not the most central place but i did find a great gym with a sauna and a late night pizza place within walking distance. The vibe in the guesthouse is that u feel at home. No corporate checkins.. A friendly personao greeting. Clean and neat although basic a great place to stay if ur in mex

Well take note there isnt a sauna but the jacuzzi bath did the job. The location was a bit out of the way but not a deal breaker.

The Casa Culhuac is your home away from home.

After a slow, slightly hard time getting to the Casa Culhac we were extremely welcomed with a smile. The owner Jaime is a great host. Tequila in hand, showed us the home. A scumprus dinner and bed. Wish my stay was longer. Will return when I can.

La ubicación ya que nos quedó super cerca de a dónde íbamos.

Que tuvieras que llamar para entrar, que no había agua en la noche y que el espacio se sentía muy abierto, osea no muy privado y que había basura probablemente de huéspedes anteriores.

Muy mala experiencia

Es literal una casa mal ubicada, a pleno pie de carretera donde no te puedes parar ni para meter el carro al estacionamiento que está muy estrecho, no hubo agua por lo que no, nos pudimos bañar, se escucha un ruido de una máquina toda la noche que no te deja dormir, las camas pandeadas y duras, se mete mucho el frío. Mala experiencia
