Misleading room description- and not clean at that!

Room description does not match room, which was the only reason we booked here. Two bedroom king suite really meant one bedroom and one tiny fold out sofa in the living room that could not accommodate two children (let alone two adults, which the website said it would). It was by far the most expensive room on property and did not fit our needs. No extra beds or rollaways exist here, so none of us slept that night. Pull out had an old gummybear stuck on frame and bathroom seat was dirty when we first checked in. Will spare the disturbing details. Was given a few clorax wipes by checkin person who seemed unphased. It was Thanksgiving and we didn't want to make a fuss as it is a holiday, plus staff was limited. After a sleepless night we asked for another option and were 'upgraded' to a regular room and lied to that it was the most expensive room they had (it was a regular 2 queen bed, manager later said so herself). Price remained at the higher rate, despite the downgrade. Manager refunded $50 for our troubles, which didn't even make up for the downgrade. Booking promised they would contact hotel but were not able to get far, and last I heard it was a he said she said situation- hotel claims Booking made up the room description, hotel says the opposite. I don't like giving terrible reviews, but neither hotel nor Booking seems to care that our short holiday getaway was ruined, so maybe this will get their attention. Since this is the last time I will book through Booking, figured I may as well warn others.

Great location, great hotel!

The location was great. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds, clean bathroom, clean room and bonus for being pet friendly. We also enjoyed that they serve breakfast. We recommend the place to friends traveling and they also ended up spending the night here. Would use it in the future again for sure.

Clean room and common areas. Basic but functional fitness center. Comfortable bed. Quite quiet. Good breakfast with lots of variety. Room was made up daily, which is fairly unusual these days.

Comfortable bed

Bathroom door; bathroom sink not draining well ( had to be moved after settling into one room, to move to another because the sink didn’t drain at all). 2 nd room had a very slow moving sink drain and a dripping shower! When reporting this problem to the front desk the response was uncaring and they were not able to take care of the problem because no maintenance staff was on the site.

Great place to stay, felt clean and updated. Would stay again!

Fantastic breakfast (especially enjoyed the biscuits and gravy!), very clean and updated hotel, elevators worked quickly and laundry room and pool both more than adequate. The heating/cooling worked well for the room and the mattress was comfortable.

Flat/cheap pillows :( My room key kept failing to work and I had to go down to the front dest THREE TIMES in the four nights I stayed to have new keys made.

Location, nice lobby and room size was great! Bed & bedding was great.

Front desk attendant had a very lackluster greeting and gave off a bored with her job vibe. Not a great way to start off the stay. Breakfast was not very good at all.

We went to Amarillo to clean out my father’s apartment because he passed away.

It was a very comfortable and clean hotel. The rooms were huge and very nice.

That your staff be trained with some manners. We were greeted with a girl behind the desk with her face down talking to us. When we asked how much our 2 little dogs would be she rudely said $30. We told her there were tiny and she said $30 each, so do you want the rooms or not..... We told her that every hotel we'd been at in the last month never charged us for 2 or at all. She said $30 each so do you want the rooms. She just had a very snotty attitude.
