3 grocery stores within a couple of blocks. And, of course, there are the two world-class universities - MIT and Harvard - both within walking distance or one short subway stop away.

Our Son stayed here while attending a MIT Beaverworks Summer Program. Carolyn was the best! Always answered our questions thoroughly with amazing detail. I hesitated to write a question because I knew she would spend a lot of her time answering our logistical inquiry about the to-dos in Boston and Cambridge! Our Son enjoyed his time there as well as his siblings and family-friends visits. A fold out cot provided a sleeping place for him during their stay. He brought a kick scooter which allowed him to get to campus in 5 minutes. This is our first experience with a VRBO and staying in the heart of a bustling area active with professionals and students. A half of a block off of Mass Ave and at the rear of the house made you think you were down a sleepy country road. We’ve already been promoting Carolyn’s Place to those we know. Thank you Carolyn!!

This apartment was a perfect place to rest during a weekend of reunion festivities. In addition to a comfy bed and lovely sitting area and kitchen, we loved the thoughtful touches of chocolate for late night snacking and tea options for morning waking. Carolyn was very responsive and clearly pays attention to every detail.

Our 3rd stay at Carolyn and Bills apartment. We plan our vacation dates as to when the apartment is available, Why look elsewhere, it has everything you need and its in the perfect location.
Great garden for a morning coffee, kitchen has everything you need, enough space, comfortable, A/C for the recently hot weather and to top it all, Carolyn + Bill who are lovely people who are so helpful and friendly.
When we are back in Boston we will stay here again because for us its simply perfect!
