About this house rental

100 year old Victorian, once lived in by Robert Mondavi. The house is down the street from the popular Farmstead Restaurant and walking distance to wineries and downtown St Helena. Enjoy all that the wine country has to offer from the comfort of your own home, while enjoying the pool, spa and barbecue. This home has been enjoyed by the owner and her friends and family for over 25 years.
My home has 3 bedrooms, 1 king and 2 queens. There is also an upstairs loft, with a trundle bed perfect for older kids!
Please see house rules. No large gatherings, maximum 6 people unless otherwised agreed upon. Please note that there is no AC or Heat in the loft or living room of the guesthouse. There is central HVAC in main house (new unit installed in 2021) and a split unit in the bedroom of the guesthouse. There are also ceiling fans in master bedroom, and both bedroom and living room of guesthouse.

Property had many amenities. Clean and easy to walk to town. Farmstead is down the street. Must go to Italian market (Naples Olive Oil)When we went hot tub worked fine just had to punch a code in every time to turn on and off. Owner says she is fixing it.

This lovely old house was in the perfect location. Coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance, large rooms and lovely outdoor porches. It was stocked with everything for a small group - dining, entertainment and spa. Would love to come back and highly recommend it.

What a charming home! It was perfect for 3 couples enjoying a weekend of wine tasting. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and the house has plenty of space to spread out. The backyard was an excellent place to relax and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and we liked being able to walk to town for shopping and dinner. House was equipped with all the amenities we needed and was very clean. Highly recommend this home!

This house is fantastic. Prior to arrival, Susan was easily reachable and very responsive. Location was an easy walk to multiple restaurants and downtown St Helena. The pictures do not do the property justice. The house is charming, very clean and much larger than expected. We had 3 couples, everyone had their own personal bed/bath space. The pool/hot tub was a total x-factor and led to us spending a lot of relaxation time at the house. If I could rate this property higher I would. This house will be the first place we look when bookng our next Napa trip.

Susan’s home was wonderful in the heart of St Helena. The home was on a nice quiet street with plenty of parking. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and the bedrooms/bathrooms were all in great shape. We especially loved the pool/hot tub. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing trip to Napa valley.

This is THE home to choose if you need a place to stay in Saint Helena area. It was like a home away from home for me and my family during their visit to attend my daughter’s wedding. My mother,brother,nephew,daughter and myself stayed here for 4 days in May. The house is beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The pictures on the website are nice but I think even they didn't do it justice. The whole house is gorgeous with thoughtful details and charm throughout. It's also super clean, super comfortable, and with all of the thoughtful amenities! Speaking of amenities, there was everything available we needed; In the bed and bathrooms: plenty of towels, crisp clean linens, plush pillows, spacious closets filled with all the things you'll need away from home from toiletries to even a garment steamer which came really handy to steam the dresses for the wedding ceremony! The kitchen is great to cook in with a gas stove, large capacity refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, large sink, and all the kitchen basics (sugar, oil, spices) and utensils you need to cook any type of meal at home. The grill by the pool/spa was clean and easy to use and we enjoyed grilling ribeye steak from the fine supermarket located two blocks away across the Main Street. It was a delightful surprise to find a fine set of cutlery ( I fell in love with the Sabatier knives!) and for the wine lover: bottle openers, decanters, all sort of wine glasses to enhance your enjoyment of the outstanding local wines

We had a wonderful stay at Susan's property. The house was super clean and so charming and comfortable. We had plenty of space for our family (5 adults, 2 kids), and we really enjoyed the pool on the one warm day we had during our stay. We also enjoyed an energetic game of Monopoly, Napa Valley edition. The new bathroom is gorgeous! You cannot beat the location. We loved waking to the shops and restaurants in St. Helena every day. Susan was very welcoming and helpful. We hope to come back!

Absolutely loved Susan and her home! She is a wonderful hostess and made things so easy for my family and me. She provided great restaurant and grocery store options. She answered questions about the area and her home in a very timely manner and was absolutely a delight to work with!! Her home is cozy, comfortable and well appointed. The rooms are spacious and the beds quite comfortable! We loved being here and loved coming home to Susan’s at the end of every day!! Thank you Susan for sharing a piece of your world with us and thank you for being a wonderful hostess throughout our trip!! We look forward to seeing you again!

We spent a long weekend in Napa Valley and really enjoyed this home. The home is older as is the style of this cute neighborhood and it’s very clean and comfortable. The beds were nice, linens soft, plenty of towels and a nicely stocked kitchen as well. Truly my only issue was with the tiny mirror in the master bathroom as it was a bit of a challenge to get ready and share with my husband. However, there are other mirrors in the living room to use as well. The location is perfect - could not have been better. We walked to great restaurants and were only a few blocks from Sunshine Market too. Highly recommend the Napa Valley Olive Oil Co at the end of the block for amazing cheeses, meats and olive oil too. Hope to be back again next year!

What a wonderful and gorgeous property! The location is ideal and we were able to walk to dinner each night. A quiet street off the Main Street made everything so easy. The house is comfortable and charming with a great patio and deck with pool. A great place to reflect with friends and family after a day of visits to wineries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Susan's house. It was the perfect location for our visit to St. Helena for our daughter's wedding, and the amenities, cleanliness and spaciousness of the property made our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely stay again, and strongly recommend.

Although this location is excellent, be prepared that it is in serious need of updating. A few observations: Master bed divot middle due to age, no soap unless you hunted in drawers and then one small bar for 4 people. Hair in second bathroom. Pool not usable - dirty. Many owner possessions are hidden away (or not) in all the closets, rooms, etc. Looks like this is not a year around Vrbo, possible also owner occupied. Glasses in "china" cabinet dirty. Slight odor in property. Mirror in guest house is 8 X 10. One full length in all home that isn't appropriate for wedding guests. Many of our friends were in other Vrbo's in the St. Helena area that were pristine with amenities. If location is most important and you're not interested in spending time inside the home, this one is fine.

It was a warm weekend so we made good use of the pool and spa. Beds were very comfy and kitchen well stocked. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was perfect for our escape to Napa. The property was as described. Close to downtown and to everything we had selected to visit. Enjoyed the hot tub and the front porch a lot. Given that one keys locks all door and the back cottage is separate, it was a little bit of a pain to lock up when we left each day since only one key was provided. Driveway is a little tight with the bushes plus a stump to drive over so be careful as you could scratch your vehicle on branches and street parking is not permitted. There was some street noise for the person staying in the front bedroom but nothing earplugs wouldn't fix. Excepts for those minor things it was the perfect place to stay for a Napa getaway.
