The great outdoors offer horseback riding, mountain golf courses, trout fishing, white water rafting and scenic drives on The Blue Ridge Parkway. Snow skiing and tubing are available at the Catalooche Ski Area. It's just a short trip to Asheville, known for the Biltmore Estate, craft breweries and some of the best restaurants in the South. Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino are nearby, and it's only a day trip to Gatlinburg and Dollywood in Pigeon Forge.

We found Golden Vista was as nice for the second visit as the first. We returned for leaf season after enjoying those magnificent views in August. The owners went above and beyond to provide amenities for their guests. House was in excellent shape and the management company was responsive and courteous when contacted.

We had a great stay. The views were amazing; kitchen was well stocked; the master bed was oh, so comfortable; house was very clean. Already booked another stay with the always courteous and helpful property manager.

This is a beautiful small home that is truly on top of the mountain with gorgeous views. It is peaceful and comfortable and a perfect place for a get away! Don’t let the road leading to it dissuade you as it is worth the trek up. Loved the close proximity to shopping, dining, and the park.
