Vacation in this never before available, historic home on Quiet South Lindstrom Lake. Built in 1898, this home is on the National Historic Record of Homes, but features all the amenities of a new home including a master suite with gas fireplace, an eat-in kitchen with granite countertops and an exercise room with treadmill, recumbent bike, television and weight machine. Wrap around porches and a huge deck cantilevered over the hill above the lake make for great views and relaxation rain or shine. This house was perfect for our sibling gathering. There is plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was just right for the times we ate there. We have booked it already for next year's gathering.

Nice property, quiet lake. Check in was an hour late as the cleaners were still on site. A little annoying after a 4.5 hour drive. So we waited outside, but then they came to mow the lawn so it was awkward and we had no where to go. Also the fridge is broken but there is a second one in the basement which was better than nothing but inconvenient when cooking 3 meals a day for 8 people. We followed the instructions for how to add food to the upstairs fridge and keep it cool- but did not work. Food went from cold to warm over night. For the price you’re paying they can definitely afford to add a working fridge. Sign on the door clearly acknowledges they know it’s a problem.
