Kapalua Ridge 711-13 is a stunningly beautiful remodeled Honolua Bay/Sunrise ocean view with more than 2200 square feet of space. Every detail has been thought out & executed with class & quality. This villa has two spacious bedrooms and three full baths for up to 6 guests. It is situated within the world class, prestigious Kapalua Resort on Maui’s northwest shore.
Ridge 711-13 is an exceptionally private villa located at the top of a quiet cul de sac in a tropical park like setting with unobstructed ocean/Honolua Bay/sunrise views from every room. The villa is a ground floor level floor plan with no stairs & is easy to access from the covered attached carport to the front door. We do not have AC, we have decorator fans in each room and rely on the lovely (we believe in green) natural Maui trade winds for our cooling. This charming retreat features an enormous wrap around lanai (Hawaiian for “patio”) large enough for a teak dining table for 6, comfy seating perfect for enjoying the soft Maui trade winds, sunrise over Honolua Bay & the green West Maui Mountains.
This tropical paradise villa is professionally decorated using colors from the outside – blues of the ocean, gray, turquoise, shades of brown, with splashes of reds, oranges. Furnishings are elegant and reflect the sophistication of today’s experienced travelers while remaining comfortable, homey & warm – a space perfect for family vacations, honeymooners, or guests of all ages. New carpeting and sliding doors in living room.
Kapalua Ridge 711-13 has two spacious bedrooms with a “secret” study tucked into the Master Bedroom suite with brand new California King, two twins beds in the second bedroom which may be made into a King. The Master Bedroom has a large private lanai. The living room has a new queen sofa sleeper. Three fabulous designed baths feature custom walk in showers & a large soaking tub in the Master. The well stocked Chef’s Kitchen is surrounded by granite counter tops, glass tile backsplash, & stainless steel appliances. There is a new washer/dryer within the villa for guests’ convenience. An over sized flat screen TV in the living room entertainment center with one each in the bedrooms rounds out the homey amenities of this delightful villa.
The Ridge at Kapalua sits in the heart of the resort on 21 acres. There are two heated pools with gas grills, dining tables, showers, soda machine & herb garden for our guests use. The Ridge is known for its well maintained & lush tropical landscaped grounds overflowing with ginger, hibiscus, palms, orchids, plumeria, Shower & banana trees.
*The time reserved by you is held special for your family vacation. Because most guests book well in advance cancellation policies are strict to Hawaii. We highly recommend Travel Insurance which is very affordable. It protects both guests and owners.
Check in is 4pm. Check out is 10am.
* Construction projects do occur and are possible nearby. We will inform you of any planned projects taking place in this building. Work must be done between 9am-5pm Monday through Friday with possible quiet work done on Saturdays.

Beautiful view and good responsive management. When we arrived it was not cleaned but they were quick to respond and waived cleaning fee. The unit is spacious with beautiful ocean views but there was no AC and it has a bug problem and should be fumigated. The kitchen and bathrooms have been updated the TV has no live steam option in family room but did have it in the bedrooms which was nice. The local mgmt was very helpful bringing over extra hangers and responsive to our needs. We love the location and would like to return to this area in the future

We stayed at this condo for our final week in Maui, after spending time elsewhere on the island. Overall the unit itself, the location and of course the weather, were all great. The condo itself is as described and pictured in the listing, with comfortable beds, ample space, and nicely appointed rooms.
The condo has a beautiful view over the Kapalua Bay Golf Course with The Ritz Carlton as a backdrop, and the ocean off to the left. Though there wasn't a direct sunset view from this unit (we visited in mid-January), the after-glow and moonrise was fantastic.
A word of notice though is for those looking to utilize the kitchen, while it is fairly well equipped with kitchen implements and tools, it has no 'basics' (IE salt, pepper, spices, etc.). While there were piles of basket coffee filters, the coffee maker requires a cone filter, which was not provided.
While the stay itself was wonderful, the entire trip was overcast by the unfortunate interactions we had with the managers/hosts of the property prior to our arrival.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continued to unfold during this time, the Canadian government issued a Travel Advisory, informing all Canadians that non-essential travel should be avoided at all costs. As such, we reached out to the property managers to see about some leniency in their cancellation policy (this travel advisory was put in place after the final deadline for cancellation and a partial refund was offered). After reaching out to the property managers, we were informed in a very unhospitable manner that there would be no considerations for Federally mandated travel advisories, and that we knew the risks when making the booking in summer 2020. While there are many layers to this situation, the manner in which we were spoken to, and the lack of compassion and kindness was completely off-putting. Working in the hospitality industry is a challenging experience at times, however it does not negate the norms of social kindness, courtesy and consideration expected from any establishment, especially paying the rates we were. Our options were to either forfeit our fully paid for condo (nearly $7,000.00 CAD), or take the risk and make the trip.
Clearly we decided to take the risk, disregard a Federally mandated travel order and go ahead with our trip as planned. While we are glad we did, the abrupt and unsympathetic communications with the property managers was completely uncalled for and could have been handled in a more profes
