Casual elegance and natural beauty located at 4,000 feet in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. This custom built home is located on the 'Summit' in the private, gated community of Cedar Hill. Cedar Hill is located on Hwy. 64 between Cashiers and Sapphire Valley.
This perfect mountain vacation home offers four comfortably appointed guest suites. Two guest suites are located on the main level of the home, each with a queen bed and private bath. A third guest suite is located upstairs and has two twin beds and a Smart TV with DVD player. The master suite, also on the second floor, is designed for privacy. It features a queen bed, gas fireplace, walk-in closet and Smart TV with DVD player. The large master bath comes complete with a double lavatory, separate shower and antique claw-foot soaking tub.
Ideal for entertaining, the main level of the home offers a large open kitchen, dining area and great room with knotty pine cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace, Smart TV, VCR/DVD player and stereo.
The fully equipped kitchen features custom oak cabinetry and Corian counter tops. The Frigidaire Gallery appliances include a double oven, microwave, dishwasher and a five-burner gas cook top. The hand crafted, heart pine dining table seats eight.
Choose the swing or one of the rocking chairs on the large, post & beam porch to sit and enjoy the cool mountain air and breathtaking long-range mountain views. A gas grill and teak table & chairs are also available for outdoor dining.
The porch, main level of the home and one bedroom and bath are handicap accessible.
The Cashiers Township is located on the Cashiers-Highlands Plateau at the southern crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains, 3500 feet high surrounded by mountains rising to over 5000 feet. Cashiers is only minutes from Sapphire Valley, Highlands and High Hampton and within easy driving distance to Brevard, Asheville, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and The Blue Ridge Parkway.

This property is at the top of the mountain. From the back deck there is a 270 degree view of mountain tops. The view of the sunset is awesome. The description of the property on the VRBO site is perfect. We got exactly what we expected. The communication and response from the owner was excellent.

The view is really the best part of this house. It is situated in a congested neighborhood. The one road is quite busy and right outside the front door so a constant presence. Construction is going on (Sept 2020). The construction trucks start running up the road about 7am. The hammering and banging are constant. The whining table saws are very loud. The noise carries on until about 5:30. The racket makes the house very unrestful.
All bedrooms have an attached bath—a positive. The house is minimally equipped. Plenty of dishes & glasses, but be sure to take any paper products you might need and soap for the baths.
