We are located in the best are of Centro Histórico, near of the best restaurants, squares, churches, bars, rooftop, everything walkable.
To cater to your group during your stay in Cartagena, we have a team of qualified staff trained to provide the best personalized service possible.
Our standard rate includes the following staff:
1 Host to welcome you and be your point of contact during your stay
1 Housekeeper to keep the villa clean every day
1 Night guardian to provide nighttime support
To enjoy a first class experience with full staff throughout your stay, you can request the ALBA service:
With the ALBA service, renting this property is more than just receiving a set of keys. You will be renting a completely private, luxury boutique villa with all the staff you need to truly indulge in a relaxing and immersive cartagena experience.
Included with this option are:
- Day and night butler to assist you with any needs and reservations
- 2 housekeeping staff
- Waiter and bartender for a continued service throughout the day and for your meals
- Concierge assistance before and during your stay
- Nighttime security
- Maintenance specialist
You can request the ALBA service full staff option for an additional cost of $500 USD per night.
For chef services, we can arrange them at an additional cost and customize menus for memorable group meals, special dinners, celebrations, and more.
We offer full board plans starting at 400,000 COP (100-110 USD) per person per day for adults and 200,000 COP (50-55 USD) per day for children under 12 years old. This options includes personalized menus for your group.
Access to the kitchen is reserved for staff only for security reasons.

We have a private luxury boat for our clients: day trips to the Rosario islands are one of a kind and cost 1200 USD for the full day with captain, bartender, and waiter on board to take care of you the whole day from 9AM to 5PM.
We can arrange a Private Airport Transfer in our own Mercedes GL 450 SUV, for 250 USD per way, for up to 6 passengers. We also have more Mercedes vehicles with different sizes, and other brands.

We had the entire historic Casa Drake (aka Casa Alba) to our group which consisted of several families and our children between the ages of 12-16.
The property is very well located and architecturally fantastic and rooms well appointed. Staff was wonderful, helped us make great plans around town and visits to outer islands and made great dining reservations while we were in town.
The meals we ate on site (typically breakfast as we ate out most nights/lunches) were delicious.
We asked if they could procure an electric guitar for one of our group's 14 yr olds who was missing his back hope and that was no problem...and we had a great concert that night!
Really no complaints other than a faulty air conditioner in one of the rooms that was rectified relatively quickly and we would absolutely recommend and come back here.
Thanks to all the staff, we had a great visit, well done!

The property is exactly as listed. What is underemphasized is the hospitality. From top down all the individuals are exceptional. The food at the hotel is comparable or even better than some of the restaurants we ate at. We had a wonderful time.

It’s a magical place and the whole staff is wonderful and attentive. After 14 hour days working, having this shangri-La as a respite… with a dip in the pool and a margarita… was just perfect. A true 10 out of 10 experience.

We stayed at Casa De Alba for a long weekend it was one of the most spectacular places I've ever stayed. The group consisted of my husband and me, our 3 month old son, and several couples. The house layout is perfect for large groups and the location is ideal - right in the old city. The best part. however, is the staff. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. That includes helping us find and get into certain bars and restaurants and helping us line up activities. They were especially welcoming to our baby son. Shout out to Milton! We had breakfast at the house every day and it was one of the highlights of the trip. We also did one dinner at the house and in retrospect, I would have done more (tho the restaurants in Cartagena are fabulous). We look forward to returning to Casa del Alba again. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.
