Situated in a prestigious mountaintop community adjacent to Lodestone Golf Course, Rockledge Manor is a log home that was designed with the ultimate vacation experience in mind. The stately exterior evokes the feeling of a true manor house. Matching that regal air, the main level boasts cathedral ceilings, a towering gas fireplace, and high-end finishes. An open floor plan makes it easy to enjoy the company of friends and family from the great room, dining area, or kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen, the beautiful granite countertops are also spacious enough to give you plenty of room to whip up favorite meals and snacks. Access to the covered deck off the dining area is especially convenient for a summertime cook-out. Instantly expanding your living space, comfortable furnishings and a unique outdoor fireplace will make this a popular spot to roast marshmallows and swap stories when the sun starts to set. Loved the house. Was perfect for our crowd of 7 snowboarders. Lots of room to spread out. Loved the hot tub and large table for family dinners. House was clean and very close to wisp! Highly recommend.

We had a large group of friends and really enjoyed our stay! The location was amazing, quaint, and close to everything! The kitchen was well equipped and we spent a lot of time on the deck with the fireplace!

The house is very nice, but it needs some improvements. Our guess is it was great when it was new, but it now needs some upkeep and investment. We had a number of issues, which are listed below. We called and reported issues daily as they arose. The people at the help desk were very nice.
1. There were ants in the kitchen.
2. The burners on the stove do not work properly. One is broken (front right) and the flame comes on very high. Other burners won't light at all and when they do they burst with flame (long burner on the left). The stove is dangerous. We routinely cook on gas stoves and know this one needs to be replaced. The help desk people said their tech thought there was no issue. This is not correct. The good news is the oven worked fine.
3. The outside grill doesn't function properly and is very dangerous. You can't control the heat with the knobs. You have control through the main valve. Many people would not know how to manage this situation and could have a major accident; the place could blow up. This is dangerous.
4. The outdoor seating cushions are absolutely gross. They need to be replaced. You cannot (and would not want) to sit on them.
5. The trash container drawer in the kitchen island is off track and does not easily open and close.
6. The door to the patio from the dining room does not lock.
7. The kitchen is the worst equipped kitchen of any rental we have ever had and we have had many. The cookware is terrible. The skillets are nearly unusable. Some of the cookware was stored dirty, which was disgusting. The most basic kitchen items were not available. It was very difficult to cook a meal in the kitchen, which was a big issue for us. You must bring absolutely EVERYTHING if you want to cook in this kitchen.
8. The TV would not turn on when we arrived. The tech came by and fixed the issue. Instructions should be provided as to how to work the remotes as it isn't obvious.
