Bring your toys because there's endless ATV trails. The neighbor can provide free range eggs from their chickens if you'd like. Makes for a fun "glamping" spot with a significant other, or bring a whole crew and tents and use the acres for a gathering. This property is 100% off grid. This is still our favorite place to stay for our anniversary. There's been a LOT of changes since last we visited! There were some full trash bags around the back of the A-frame this time, making me think someone was enjoying the place only days before we arrived. There are also several new covered structures being built. While I expected this from my last conversation with the owner during our last visit, it was still a shock. I would love to know how the rental/visits are going to work once the new cabins are completed. It's still very gorgeous and peaceful, and the perfect place to "reset" for a while! Still highly recommend!

Really great location away from the city. Far enough from any highway that it's perfectly quiet. Great views of the valley.

My hubbs and I have been coming here for our anniversary for the last 3 or 4 years and it’s STILL the best place we’ve found! Every year we go is like a new adventure because every year there’s at least one new add-on! It’s absolutely astounding and never ceases to amaze us at house much work Michael puts into the property every year to make it more homey and comfortable! I do have to say that the bean bag and futon are not the most comfy to sleep on, but it’s easy enough to move stuff around and set up your own air mattress. We STILL love this place and patiently wait to see what new surprises the host leaves next year! Thank you again for letting us stay on your beautiful (and ever changing) property! We look forward to next year!!!

Overall the canyon and location is beautiful, but I don't think that I was aware that the bed would be so small and that we would be so close to the neighbors who seem to be living there. It was also very hard to find firewood up there becuase there are many people who own property there and I'm sure they are searching daily for it. Would have been nice to have been provided some wood. The neighbors were very nice and helpful, but we had the feeling that they help out with the rental as well and most likely have a key. It made it difficult for us to leave our belongings at the cabin.
