About this house rental
This beautiful remodeled West Okoboji home is perfect for a family vacation or just a fun weekend getaway! You can enjoy views of beautiful West Lake Okoboji from every room of the house or enjoy them on the very large patio and deck! The house is located on Smiths bay of West Lake Okoboji and offers amazing sunset and sunrise views!! You are only steps away from the famous Arnolds Park Amusement park, the Central Emporium and all of the shopping and restaurant's the lakes area has to offer. From your private patio and deck you can watch the fireworks shooting over the lake or sip on a cocktail as the boaters, skiers and water boarders go by. Outside, you have a private dock and stairs that lead into a private swimming area. Sit in the sun, fish, or just hang out on the dock! This home was built with family in mind and can sleep up to 20-23 comfortably. The house is great for family vacations, reunions, or events!
The upstairs of the house has great lake views and 6 newly remodeled bedrooms and a brand new bathroom with dual vanity sinks! The living room or finished basement are perfect for games, movies or a round of cards. The main floor has a brand new kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and stainless steal sink. The kitchen has a large center island for the family to gather around and the kitchen and dining room are an open concept layout. So the cook can view the lake and not have to worry about missing out on the fun and entertainment while they cook! There is also a fully furnished and finished basement with a bonus room and tv/game room for the kids!
The front yard also has a fire pit to sit around and tell stories or enjoy some smores! The property also has a gas grill for cookouts.
Also we recently added a water slide at the end of the dock for your enjoyment.
Nearby boat ramp for putting your boat in and out of the water or marina for boat rentals, jet skis or sailboats. Restaurants, amusement park, water park and public beaches are all close by.
This property is not on the canal or harbor but located directly on west okoboji.
**Note** The dock is usually put in the end of May and taken out mid October. If renting be aware of these dates if having a dock is important.

The view outside was beautiful, good place for some great pictures. We enjoyed the fire pit. Inside several rooms have been updated, the kitchen, living area, dining area and bathroom. The kitchen was very well stocked, except could use some adult drinking glasses. The bedrooms could use some updating, pretty outdated, but we slept ok. The owner was very helpful

This house was amazing! Very clean and so much space for me and my friends. We had a fun weekend. Communication with the host was exceptional. The location was perfect for us and a friendly neighborhood. Lake view was beautiful! Thank you!

It's a beautiful place but was rather dirty. There were spiders and bugs. It seemed like it hadn't been cleaned good in a while. One of the bathroom sinks was plugged, a few light bulbs out, one of the toilets ran continuously, we couldn't get the TV to work at all. Arnolds Park is a fun place to visit and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. This made it very convenient.
