About this cottage rental
Seven acre property with 2 lakefronts. Located right on Gooseneck lake - no stairs to climb or descend to the lake. A short hike in the forest, along a marked path, takes you to the second lake - McGee Lake (no cottages on this lake - pristine clean). This is a fairly secluded location - only 1 other cottage in sight and is surrounded by forest and of course clean lakes. It is 2.5 kms from highway 520 along a well maintained gravel road.
There are two decks both front and back.
The property has a marked trail in the forest and we ask quests to stay on that trail in order to minimize disruption to the forest floor.
The gravel road is great for taking long walks and very scenic.
The cottage is about 1350 sq/ft with 3 medium sized bedrooms and one bathroom. the living room is large with a high vaulted wood panelled ceiling. The kitchen has ample counter and storage space and is well equipped including a blender, juicer, steamer and food processor (for healthier food prep) . The dining room table easily fits 6 (max. occupancy). The mattresses are new and a very comfortable medium foam.
The space is both comfortable and beautiful.
