Private Getaway 10 Mins From Hunter & Windham Mountain

Great location for hiking trails in the area. The property was secluded with great fire pit seating area. We had problem with one of the bathroom toilets and host had it taken care of the next day. The air conditioning is only available in July and August so we had a couple of warm sleeping nights with hotter than normal weather in June.

Heaven on Earth for anyone looking to get away and find peace in nature. The lodge was everything the photos suggest and more. Hosts Phil and Patty were extremely responsive to a small issue we encountered early in our stay and got things resolved in no time.

We loved the house!! Can't wait to go back next year for our annual trip! The layout is perfect. Three bedrooms are right off of the living room which is perfect; everyone had their own private rooms but we were still near each other. We really enjoyed hanging out in the game room and in the large dining/family room and truly enjoyed cooking on the indoor grill. It was just a perfect house and and comfortably fit about 10 people. We loved the warm cabin feel mixed with modern features and appliances. The house looks just like what you see in the pictures. Again, can't wait to go back!

The property is well-maintained with lots of outdoor space. There is more than one large communal space which is nice with a group. View from the back windowed patio is really nice. Location is good and it is a short trip to local attractions. There were a couple very minor issues, but none that would stop us from booking here again. Overall a great stay for a group.
