A spacious kitchen is equipped with all new modern stainless steel appliances. An 8ft farmhouse table in the dining room provides enough room for everyone to eat together. The living room offers lots of comfortable seating to sit back and relax and a large bay window to enjoy the view outside.
Outside, sit back and take in the views from one of the seating areas on the wrap around porch. Or enjoy the large deck with a grilling area, patio furniture, a large farmhouse table and firepit. The house sits on 2 acres of land, giving you plenty of room for outdoor activities. A large driveway provides ample parking for boats, trailers, and extra vehicles.

Beautiful historic farmhouse in a scenic location, close to Traverse City Horse Show grounds. The house is very well stocked with anything you might need. I had some issues using the lock on the door, but the host was very responsive and helpful throughout our 3 week stay. There’s no central AC, which scared me because I’m from Las Vegas, but the window units kept the house comfortable during some pretty hot and humid days in July. I would definitely stay here again.

We were in Elk Rapids for a family reunion and 10 of the 38 of us booked this VRBO. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Between my family and my cousin's family we had 4 kids and a dog. All five of them LOVED running around the orchards. The long dining table was perfect for meals and games. The kitchen had everything we needed, and cupboard space for our food.
We are so grateful for Carla allowing some other family members to camp on the lawn last minute. My aunt and uncle who were hosting at their house came down with covid the day everyone was driving up and flying in. We had a quick scramble to find a place for some people to stay and we are grateful for the accomodations of our host.
My only feedback would be a sliding barn door on the bedroom downstairs and more spoons! Lol! We had a lot of coffee drinking and cereal eating.
Again, perfect place for my family!

Comfortable and clean farmhouse on an orchard, pet friendly but clean and hair free throughout. Located ten minutes from hiking and East Bay beach, 10 minutes from Elk Rapids, 15 minutes from Traverse City. Noting no central AC so upstairs bedrooms may become hot during warmer months - not an issue for us when weather was in 70s!

Beautiful farmhouse! Beautifully decorated and well-appointed with essentials needed for cooking in the large kitchen. Perfect size for a much anticipated family getaway with husband, son, daughter-in-law and daughter, son--in-law and two grandkids. Downtown Elk Rapids close by and a nice drive to Traverse City! Carla, property owner, was very responsive and helpfuI. I highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to visit again!
