Owner is friendly and responsive. House is remodeled and decorated well. However...The house is on the I5 freeway (Literally- that is the view) and the noise is so loud that the outdoor spaces cannot be enjoyed and the doors must be closed when indoors. Internet quality is terrible. Owner had her brother come by to problem solve and internet was fixed for all but 1 hour. No WiFi on laptops or phones so make sure you don’t need to use zoom or need WiFi or school Or work. Seemed that the owner had not checked In on the property for some time. Not enough coffee cups for 6 guests and glasses were low and what was provided was old and damaged. Bbq was filthy and filled with grease. Fire pit propane tank was empty, which we realized on Saturday night at 9pm. The welcome note states to fill propane yourself; cruising to the store when you’re just sat to try relax is not feasible. There was not enough TP to last our stay, bath towels were stained and old ...the list goes on. We were frustrated and disgruntled and left 2 nights early forfeiting the money spent. Owner responded with a note thanking us for letting her know about the issues but with no apology. Im sure the next guests will have a great stay- so long as you’re willing to spend every waking hour at the beach because the noise is unbearable. Swimming beach is close and Trestles a short drive down the road which is a surfers dream.
