Sunny two bedroom, one bath bungalow nestled on the Berkeley/Albany border in Thousand Oaks, one of Berkeley's most charming and vibrant neighbourhoods.
The property is located in a quiet residential area, but it's just one block to a lively shopping district on Solano Avenue with cafes, restaurants, bakeries, trendy shops, pubs, and bookshops. Solano Ave also has grocery stores, CVS, a post offfice, several banks, and a gas station.
Excellent ground transportation makes it easy to get around: buses to San Francisco, UC Berkeley, and the City Center are on Solano as well as buses to BART (the North Berkeley and El Cerrito Plaza BART stations are a pleasant 30-minute walk in either direction or a 7-8 minute drive). Highway 80 is easily accessible.
Ideally situated--close but not too close to UC--the house is near enough to be convenient but far enough from the hustle and bustle of campus and downtown Berkeley. Whether you're seeing family and friends, visiting the university, or daytripping around San Francisco Bay this property makes a great home base.
In addition, the home features: High-speed Wi-Fi, 45-inch Sony HDTV, Satellite Direct TV; large well-equipped kitchen; full-size washer and dryer; central heating.

Beautiful 1924 home - very quiet and peaceful. Amenities thoughtful and generous. We couldn't have been more pleased. The beds delightfully comfortable and home immaculately clean. 11/10
