The facilities in the common areas were fabulous from the pub to the restaurant to the cafe
the 100m hike to the loo!

Beautiful location and historic cabins which have been done up very comfortably. After multiple days of hiking / camping having a number of restaurants and amenities within easy walking distance within the village was a luxury. We tried out the pizza restaurant which was very good. I didn’t realise access to the spa was not included in our booking price (additional 500 NOK pp) however staff were very helpful in finding a free slot for me to be able to enjoy - the spa is really beautifully done so definitely recommend. Views from the cabin were unbelievable!

The atmosphere of the village was great. The setting is beautiful.
The staff wherever you came across them were exceptional. They made it a pleasure from check in to checkout.
The cabin was quiet and well positioned.
Breakfast was excellent and both the restaurant and pizza place served quality meals. Can recommend both!
The small ‘double’ bed in our cabin- fortunately we had 2 bedrooms so could sleep separately but not ideal for a couple!
For a small luxury hotel there could have been more in the cabin- a coffee machine and filters was provided but no coffee for it! Some milk, biscuits as a welcome would have been nice…and made it feel more special. There is a washing machine but nowhere to dry clothes….little touches that make a difference hence 9 not 10.

Walk to bathroom in rain at night not a happy point

Staying in a rorbu while visiting Lofoten is truly a must-do experience, and we were lucky to get the most charming house slightly isolated from the others, which made it feel extra special. The views of the mountains and water were absolutely stunning and made our stay unforgettable.
The beds that were described as double beds turned out to be very narrow, in my opinion not really suitable for two adults. They might work for two children or perhaps a slim adult and a child, but not so confortable for two grown-ups.
We also found dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, and unfortunately, it turned out the dishwasher was broken. It would have been a nice gesture if the property had offered some kind of compensation, eg. a discount for breakfast, for the inconvenience.

A lovely quiet location with stunning scenery. The cottages were well equipped with everything you would need.
Alexandria in reception was extremely pleasant and helpful.
The loft beds were a bit of a challenge gaining access but was all part of the holiday fun 😀
In the small village there is a lovely bakery, pizza restaurant and bar etc so you have it all on your doorstep.
Nothing!

The location and access to local hikes was amazing. The breakfast was incredible and the fjord picturesque. Loved it a d would go back
The cabin was a bit cramped for a family of 4, no place to put luggage, clothing, toiletries. Next time would get 2 for 2 people. But this shouldn’t stop anyone from selecting Nusfjord!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent. It is right by/on the water in a wonderful small fishing village well worth the visit. The receptionist who gave us the key was very kind and helpful. The apartment provided a quiet, peaceful experience for us. We were able to relax and have a very enjoyable vacation. By staying in this apartment we were able to visit the village free of charge. Overall, this is a great place to stay!
We made our meals in the apartment, but had some difficulty because we needed a knife for cutting vegetables, scissors for opening packages and a spatula for cooking eggs, etc. We also had trouble climbing the ladder to the single beds in the loft. It had very narrow, round rungs that were not easy to climb, especially for older people like us in our 60s. Luckily though, we discovered a sofa bed below that we were able to use. This bed was comfortable.

Beautiful experience. Felt like stepping into the magic. For a couple of days we forgot about our life outside of Lofoten islands and we could immerse into a life of a Norvegian fisherman village. Of course, we do realize, it is a resort and our stay was extremly comfortable and cannot even be compared to what Norvegian fisherman must have lived in their lives. Nevertheless, as a tourist, I could enjoy that the reception was in one house, our cabin was a bit further away, spa was past the harbour, restaurant in the middle of the village. Walking around, having things to do, really made me feel like I am "living" in that village. I think that it's amazing what Nusfjord village and resort has done with this place, preserving the fisherman village, and providing a piece of this romanticised life to tourists like us. Also, the activities we tried were 10/10 - sauna experience and fishing trip were truly well organized and because we were out of season, it felt super private. And if you can, please get the breakfast. The best breakfast I have had and could just go back for it alone.
The beds were a bit scary - there was really not much separating the mattress and the edge of the bed that was on the upper floor/ceiling level. Even if there is a big mattress, I spent the whole night a bit anxious that I will roll too close to the dangerous side of the mattress. There is a little "board" at a face level. It would be good to extend it throughout the whole length of the bed to add the feeling of safety.

Our 3 night stay in Comfort Cabin 4 was a fantastic experience. The cabin was in a lovely location and had everything needed for a comfortable warm stay. From the minute we arrived to the transfer back to the airport, the interaction with staff was first class. Friendly, informative and relaxed, they made our stay even more enjoyable. We ate at Karoline Restaurant where the food was delicious, although adding wine to the meal made it very expensive (but our choice!). The breakfasts were generous buffet style and again everything was very tasty. We spent time in the cafe and pizzeria, again lovely spaces to relax with a hot chocolate or beer. Unfortunately during our stay the Northern Lights were elusive (too cloudy!) and trips on both nights were cancelled. However we enjoyed our kayaking and walking in the area. An added bonus was Nusfjord village itself with the buildings restored to show and inform about it's historical past.

Cute apartments in the fishing village of Nusfjord
The restaurant Karoline in the village was really nice as well!
Some railings on the bunk beds would be a great safety measure! Felt like we could roll off the bunk beds 😂

The location was great, fantastic views, the restaurant's breakfast was very good, the bathroom was very clean and big, and the village was awsome.
We took the "cheap" cabin, 250e per night, and everthing was very unconfortable. No running water in the cabin, only a hose outside with brown water (although drinkable), my feet didn't fit in the bed, they touched the ceiling, only if moved to the side I could lay down. The ladder to the beds was hurting our feet. The toilet was 100m from the cabin, and when it rained it was a pain

The breakfast at the Restaurant is brilliant.
Free entry to the historic village.
Beautiful view.
Very nice and helpful employees.
Missing kitchen eqiupment, e.g. oil, pasta strainer, salt and pepper only in tiny bags, scissors. I recommend to eat at the restaurant if you want to stay and only for 1 night, otherwise i think it's to expensive for what is offered.
Somewhat sparsly decorated, without any pictures on the wall.

The location was amazing - we visited other villages with Rorbuer (Reine, Hamnoy, Henningsvær) and can confidently say that Nusfjordveien was the most peaceful and beautiful

Wonderful cabin
Very well furnished and equipped
Amazing view
No black out curtains, it was hard to sleep with the midnight sun
No soundproofing at all - but that’s a given in wood cabins, you just have to hope the neighbors will be considerate and quiet

It was absolutely stunning. It felt like a quieter area than some of the other places I stayed in Lofoten, which felt very serene, but there were also places to eat walking distance. Highly recommend.

Location, views from the cabin, fireplace, well-equipped kitchen and friendly staff.
The bed was softer than I am accustomed to, but sleeping on the mezzanine quickly solved my problem.

it's in an old fishing village and it's very cool to stay in an Old fisherman's cabin. and of course it's in Lofotan so everywhere around is beautiful. But that's the end of it.
the refrigerator had a chirp that sounded like an annoying phone ring. it went off every few minutes the entire time. totally sucked. there was a beautiful fire place that didn't work at all. there was a loft bed that was dirty and covered in crumbs. there was no convenient parking. would not stay here again. there are better options.

Location, lady at reception was nice and upgraded to better suite for free due to not having entry level cottage with separate beds :)
Quiet and preserved village, restaurant was okay.
And..did I mention location?
Some weird whiny noise coming from kitchen in few minute intervals.
Certainly not fridge, not smoke alarms, so we figured it most likely was a ghost of an old fisherman :)
Hotel parking lot has steep down slope, my poor WV Golf wasn't particularly happy about it, but SUV's should do just fine.

Beautiful cosy cabin, next to the water. Very well equipped and you can just enjoy your time in Nusfjord!
Everything was great!
