Hilton Goa Resort Candolim

The hospitality of the hotel was so nice.

Room was on 3rd floor but unfortunately there was no elevator to reach the location.

The rooms were spacious; we initially got assigned rooms of a different category than booked since we asked for them next to each other but once we spoke to the reception staff, the error was rectified the following day. The buffet breakfast had a generous spread for both, vegetarians and non vegetarians. The rooms are a little bit of a walk from the reception/cafe but very manageable. There are multiple swimming pools of different depths, which we appriciated.

The hotel is on top of a little hill, which make it difficult to reach/leave if you dont have a car/cab booked.

Mid range property with average food and mid range local guests whose bank account exceeds their civic sense. Also be aware when you booked this is not a beach property, which I was.

1. Lift did not work for 2 days and our room was in the 5th floor. 2. After every room cleaning service, some or the other item would not be replaced like floormat or bathrobe or towels, we had to call and ask for them again. 3. The mini fridge did not work for the 1st two days and when asked for ice bucket, it was not provided and the fridge was replaced only on the 3rd day. 4. In the breakfast area, the items which we orderd, like dosa, took forever to come, a couple of days, they did not even serve the ordered items. 5. The hot and cold water knob inside the bathroom did not function properly, it was turning 360 degrees and we had to take some time everytime to set it properly. 6. The kettle in the room smelled horribly bad.
