Welcome to our spacious five-bedroom mountain chalet in Masthope, Pennsylvania, where outdoor adventures and unforgettable family memories come together.
Whether you're planning a winter ski getaway, a summer vacation by the water, or a relaxing weekend surrounded by nature, this home offers the perfect setting to explore, unwind, and reconnect.
Winter adventures start right in the backyard! Enjoy direct ski-in/ski-out access to Ski Big Bear without the hassle of driving to the mountain or finding parking. Spend the day on the slopes, then ski back home to warm up by the gas fireplace. The dedicated ski room features benches and equipment racks, making it easy to get ready for another day on the mountain.
One of our favorite features? Watching family and friends ride the ski lift from the wraparound deck while taking in panoramic views of the slopes.
When the snow melts, Masthope becomes an entirely different kind of playground. Spend your days exploring the Delaware River, canoeing, rafting, hiking, or relaxing by the lake. Lake and river access are less than five minutes away, making it easy to enjoy the outdoors without spending your vacation in the car.
Nearby adventures include canoeing and rafting on the Delaware River, swimming at the Masthope community lake and pool, hiking through the Pocono Mountains, golfing at nearby courses, and visiting family-friendly attractions. From exciting days on the river to peaceful mornings surrounded by nature, there's something for everyone.
After a day outdoors, the chalet offers plenty of space to come together. The main living room features a cozy gas fireplace and connects to an oversized dining and sunroom with panoramic views of the mountain and ski slopes. Step outside onto the wraparound deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air, beautiful scenery, and views of the ski lifts.
Downstairs, the entertainment area is a favorite gathering spot, featuring a full 14-seat bar, flat-screen television, shuffleboard, poker table, and plenty of space for games and conversation.
And don't miss one of the property's most memorable features: the outdoor wood-burning pizza oven and fireplace. Make homemade pizzas together, gather around the fire, and enjoy an evening under the mountain sky.
Designed for family gatherings and shared vacations, the chalet offers five bedrooms, multiple living spaces, and three full bathrooms.
The upper level features a primary bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with two twin trundle beds (four twin sleeping spaces), and a loft with a queen sleeper sofa.
The main level includes one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, the living room, dining/sunroom, and access to the wraparound deck.
The lower level offers an additional bedroom/playroom with two twin beds, a full bathroom, dedicated ski equipment room, and entertainment lounge with bar.
The sleeping arrangements work especially well for families traveling together, with separate spaces for adults and children.
Every season brings something special. Winter means skiing, snow-covered mountain views, and cozy evenings by the fireplace. Spring brings hiking, fresh mountain air, and peaceful time surrounded by nature. Summer is all about Delaware River adventures, lake days, swimming, and outdoor fun. Gregg and Joanne were very responsive and helpful. They answered questions and addressed concerns in a timely and helpful manner. The home is so comfortable, each room with great beds and mattresses, linens, abundance of great games, user friendly direction's fore pizza oven and so much more! This home radiates the perfect vibe for families and groups to bond. The downstairs has everything and then some with the beautiful bar fully equipped with anything a bartender might need. Although we did not get a chance to use the outdoor fireplace and pizza oven.. the idea of it was fun! The speakers, the screens, supplies for indoor outdoor activities, this home is ideal for creating lasting memories and good times!

We had an amazing stay! Gregg was incredibly accommodating and always quick to respond to questions, providing thorough and helpful information from the start. The house itself is absolutely amazing; perfect for a ski weekend. After full days of skiing, the kids loved being able to come and go easily with the convenient slope access. Evenings were a blast playing games at the bar area and gathering around the large dining table. There was more than enough space for our large group, and the different sleeping areas allowed for plenty of privacy. My husband even made incredible pizza in the brick oven!I also want to note that everyone we encountered—from the POA workers to the lift and lodge staff—was pleasant, kind, and welcoming. Overall, it was an awesome experience and a perfect ski weekend. Highly recommend!

We loved walking into a nice and clean house. Gregg was always available to answer any questions I had. We enjoyed watching the ski lifts from the deck in the back. We would re-book without hesitation.
