Come enjoy the sights, sounds and serenity of our fantastic getaway home nestled in a cedar forest on top of a water fall! Our Cottage at Firefly Falls has a great room with cathedral ceilings and massive stone fireplace, gracious cook’s kitchen, 1.5 baths, open loft for sleeping, and deck overlooking the waterfall. In combination, Firefly Cottage and Friefly Retreat make for a great option for gathering with others. We have keyless entry and security cameras overseeing entries and fiber optic broadband service. Our home provides a perfect getaway for artists, writers, nature lovers, sled heads, or for family gatherings (together with our Retreat), romantic getaways, and friends weekends.

One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at….the pictures don’t do it justice! Waking up every morning and sitting outside with a cup of coffee in front of your own waterfall was absolutely incredible. The hosts were very nice and accommodating as well. 5 stars.

The photos online doesn't do the cabin justice. The interior was large, updated and clean. By far the best VRBO property that we have ever rented. We are looking forward to another visit next year.

We had the most wonderful time at Firefly Falls. It was beyond what was on the website. The host was amazing and so helpful and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be back!!!

We could not wait for our trip to the Firefly cottage. If it was anything like the photos on Vrbo, it was sure to be a delightful. And it was just as pictured. The great room had a wall of windows looking out to the creek and waterfall. The bed was comfy (once we figured out that it was a sleep number). The sheets and towels were all soft and the pillows were terrific.
However, we began to notice some small things that needed attention. There were some loose boards on the porch, and two lounge chairs were threadbare and needed replacing. The window sills were dirty and had dead bugs on them when you opened the windows. We found expired and old products throughout the house. The place needs a good old fashioned deep cleaning.
Robin failed to let the guests arriving to the main house know that we were staying in the cottage. They were very nice, but they said that Robin told them that they could use the porch by the cottage because no one was staying there. The woman read Robin’s note to us. Robin did apologize.
But it got really weird when one of the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and I asked Robin if I missed it somehow. Instead of assuming that I wouldn’t have asked if we had enough, I was “schooled” on how I was wrong and people steal it and her family of five go through one roll in two weeks. I don’t recall ever having to defend our bathroom needs in any establishment. It was weird and awkward and unnecessary. if you stay, bring your own soap and toilet paper.
