About this house rental
The main floor features a comfortably furnished, open concept Great Room, with sitting, kitchen and dining areas, as well as the master bedroom suite, a powder room and a separate study. Large windows across the front rooms give good views of the cove and make this a light, bright living space.
Downstairs there's an additional sitting area with walkout to the patio and garden, two more good-sized bedrooms and a full bathroom.
The custom-crafted kitchen has painted cabinets, quartz worktops, stainless steel appliances, a large island/breakfast bar and a pantry.
Three bedrooms: Master with Queen bed and flat screen TV; walk through closet leading to en-suite bathroom. Second bedroom with Queen bed; third with twin beds.
Three bathrooms: Master en-suite with shower and two sinks; bathroom downstairs with bath/shower; main floor powder room.
The house is situated in a large, private lot with expansive lawn to the front and woodland to the rear.
A deck at the main living level extends the full width of the house. Doors from the Great Room lead out to a fully furnished seating and dining area, with barbecue; doors from the master bedroom lead out onto a furnished seating area.
At the lower level there's direct access to the patio, lawn and gardens, from which it's just a short walk to the waterfront.
The property backs onto the Chester Connection trail, for walking and cycling.

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful water front property. The property is spacious, with full amenities, even has full kitchen amenities such as spices, and we were able to stay in on some nights and make dinner. The location is perfect in that it's less than and hour to Halifax, and a easy drive to Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. Chester is 5 min away with easy access to Foodland, and also a great farmers market on Friday morning.

This was advertised as a custom built home on beautiful Marriott’s Bay. It was that and more. A beautiful well equipped home. It had everything we needed. My wife and I were joined by our son, daughter in law and their two infant children. This house is located on a very quiet dead end street with many attractions a short drive away. We enjoyed daily walks with the kids and quiet time on the upper deck watching the tide come in. A very enjoyable holiday.

This is a wonderful property and exactly what we were looking for - easy drive to the city, proximity to so many south shore attractions, water access, beautiful scenery and friendly neighbors. For paddlers/kayakers, great access to the protected waters of Mahone Bay and its islands. The home itself was equipped with everything you could want/need, with enough room for privacy when wanted as well as ample family gathering space. We would highly recommend this property.
