We celebrated two college graduations, a 65th birthday, a 60th birthday, and a 30th anniversary — and this home made every moment feel special. The oceanfront views were absolutely stunning, and the beach below was perfect for body surfing and walking. From the pickleball court to the full size chess board on the roof, to the hot tub to the home theater, everything was designed for fun and togetherness. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to gather. Highly recommend for anyone planning a memorable getaway.

The house was everything it was reported to be. Beautiful accommodations, gorgeous views. Our families age group ranged from 13 years old to 80 year's old. We had a fantastic three day celebration. The owner and Tim that checked us in were great to work with.

Our large group of friends truly enjoyed everything this property had to offer. The oceanfront setting is beautiful. The house has many places to socialize and play while enjoying the location including the rooftop pickleball court, pool, hot tub, ping pong/pool table, theater room. We used them all and almost never left the property since we had everything we needed there. We highly recommend!

Enormous house in a perfect spot! House was perfect for our “escape the cold” getaway. Our goal was to soak up the sun and relax and boy did we. We rented a car but didn’t need it. Walked to coffee, dinner and grocery store. There weee only 6 in our party so we didn’t even use like half the bedrooms available. We BBQ one night and the outdoor kitchen/dining was perfect. There were even a couple patio heaters that made it super comfortable. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Having a small gym and 6 seater movie theater was also a great bonus! House is perfect for large groups as all the rooms are spread out so you have plenty of privacy. Tim and Tony were great communicators and check in/check out was a breeze!

This is a beautiful house, with incredible views. We had 7 people stay here. My wife and I and our three kids and their significant others ranging from 21 to 27. We only used 4 of the bedrooms and the house is so big, it took us a while to figure out how to get from place to place! There are NO better views….The house has so much to do in it, from pickle ball, to the movie room, pool table, video game, sauna, hot tub, pool…..etc. The location is amazing and close to everything. The house is set up perfectly for fun family gatherings. We used every bit of the house and even used the street legal golf cart to go to the cute small town minutes away for coffee and supplies. Tim, the house manager couldn’t have been any better. Any time we had questions or we couldn’t figure out how to do anything, Tim came right over and was like having a brother down the road. Seriously, if you can afford this place, book it. You won’t be disappointed. It’s a 34,000,000 house and the views are worth that. We had a private chef one night in the house and loved watching the surfers from every window of the house. Seriously, there are NO better views that I have EVER seen from a house. The house is literally on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the sunsets are breathtaking. I’m getting sad talking about it, because we are on a plane flying home. We hope to return again in the future. It’s a rockstar house!

This house is everything the listing says and more. The pictures don’t do the view justice at all. The golf cart is key to get around town and the house is centrally located to everywhere you want to be (Birria Taqueria). There was enough space for four families with kids. The kids played pickleball and swam in the heated pool every day. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful spacious home with spectacular views of the ocean. Loved being able to watch the surfers from the living room. So many fun things to do at the house for the kids and adults; pickleball, pool, ping pong, swimming and Frogger at the game table. The golf cart was nice to have for trips into town. We all had so much fun and are grateful to have found this property. Tony, the owner, was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Also, would like to thank Tim, the property manager, for being so responsive and making sure all of our needs were met (including our request for early check-in). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amazing venue with spectacular views and many amenities including a recently refurbished rooftop pickleball court as well as a large Chess game. The July 4th fireworks displays included several different shows which were viewable from the rooftop. Overall, our group of 17 had a great time with many new memories made. The property host, Tim, was very responsive and quickly supplied a new fire pit. However, the 4 unit air conditioning system was not working well and in need of repair which, unfortunately, could not be made during our stay. If the A/C was repaired, we would consider another future stay. Thank you, Tony and Tim!

We enjoyed our stay very much with 15 of us appreciating the great location, views, and so many activities to do just in the house. My husband uses a wheelchair and it was very helpful to have an elevator available for him. Although, the elevator only accessed half of the house. He was able to walk down 4 steps to the pool and he just enjoyed watching the family have a great time. Thank you Tony.

Hsve been anticipating this trip for 9 months and traveled with 12 people (2 children under 3). The hospitality and space were perfect even accommodating an early check in since we had children and arrived early. Easy access to many many activities and the house space including pool, pickle ball court, games and multiple sitting areas were phenomenal. Great access to restaurants, beach, boardwalk, shopping. The view was beyond compare!!

Our family was in La Jolla for our daughter’s wedding. This home was a great space for the bridal party to gather for pre wedding fun, BBQ, and what we hoped would be a fun family pickleball tournament. Weather didn’t cooperate and the pickleball court wasn’t usable, but the owner bent over backwards to make up for it, with beautiful flowers, and lots of other bonuses to make our stay extra special. The view is breathtaking as you walk into the home, but it is definitely for the young at heart with lots of stairs. Our family also enjoyed the cute street legal golf cart for lots of coffee trips and touring around La Jolla. The property manager was amazing and helpful throughout our stay!

The property itself is excellent though when we arrived they had sustained some storm damage. My mother who is 81 has been all over the world (as have many of us who stayed) but she was born in San Diego and I was raised in La Jolla including graduating from La Jolla Hogh and going to UCSD. We loved being back “home”. The place was magnificent. We would have liked to have been told the whole roof was being replaced with the pickle ball court on the roof being totally gone. It would at least have allowed us to not bring our equipment. The only other issue with the house is a fireplace in the main living area that is no longer connected. It would have been nice to enjoy that. Otherwise, this was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and one of nicest houses of any trip we have taken. Costa Rica is a close second.

We had an amazing trip and the property was fantastic. Between the pool, hot tub, pickleball on the roof and the amazing views, we barely left the house. The views were breathtaking and the location was awesome. We could walk everywhere and also had fun with the golf cart.the house was huge with plenty of space for everyone and tons of privacy. The owner, property manager and everyone else were also wonderful to deal with cant wait to go back!

First and Foremost I am not writing this fishing for some money refund as owner Tony accuses most recent reviewers. House is as presented on VRBO. Wonderful 24 hours day views of gorgeous Pacific Ocean La Jolla, surfers, Etc. Beach access as easily accomplished as advertised. Owner(s) not caring for property to levels property deserves. Essential sliding glass doors to patio views, pool, etc almost impossible to slide open and close. Elevator hardly works in a house highly vertical. We counted ten levels connected with stairs. All OK yet for those non stairs folks too difficult. Upon arrival pool and jacuzzi dirty and cleaned for our final day during which we discovered these enjoyable. house manager Tim was very responsive and kind. House simply needs deferred maintenance issues fixed and fixed soon. Bifurcated house basically two sides each with five or so levels connected with one another on couple of common levels. All in all a wonderful time far as sleeping accommodations, views and beach access, common areas, kitchen functionality, Etc. Again, owners need to keep up this multimillion dollar party house!!!

My extended family stayed here for 4 days in Sept. With my 92 yr old mom, the elevator was a great feature. The location and size of this house is what sets it apart from the others. We enjoyed amazing weather and savored every moment watching surfers and beachgoers just a rocks throw away. Several balconies, pickleball court, media room, etc. etc., such that it was difficult to find people at times. Every room was nicely appointed and the kitchen was fully stocked. The check in went smoothly and Tim explained everything about the property. I had a few questions and they were promptly answered. The only reason I didn't give this a five star rating is due to some deferred maintenance. Many of the blinds in the home are broken or missing and as it was warm during this time, the home needed shade from the afternoon sun. Two sliding doors were too difficult to open by some of the guests. I found some Wd-40 and made it better but they need some attention. The washing machine sounds like it will break apart. The handle in the lower bathroom sink just falls off, and the stopper is inoperable. The stay was still lovely, and once these items are addressed, it would be a 10 star property.

I was frustrated because I was told the property manager would be in touch with me beforehand. This didn't happen. Wanted to know simple things like if we could leave our luggage there before check-in time so we didn't have to rent a car to keep our luggage in. Also, would have been nice to know that coffee wasn't included, simple things that could have been taken care of beforehand with a simple yes or no answer. Also, the master bedroom door to the pool area did not lock, nor did the gate on the side of the house that goes to the pool area. Had to put a chair with a vase on it at night so that if someone tried to come into the house, I would know.

Tim the property manager assistant did a great job unfortunately the listing on Vrbo is not accurate The property is very very tired and needs a lot of attention. For the price they are charging it should have been nicer. I previewed the property and I would have cancel but Tony the owner I think?waited still it was to let for me to cancel so if possible I would schedule a preview before it’s to late to cancel that way it’s your call either way The property was on the cover of a Pickleball magazine that I receive and unfortunately that Pickleball court needs a lot of attention but the location was great Just needs a lot of work and I mean a lot of work. Our group of 13 had an amazing time at this beautiful property. With so many spots to sit and enjoy the magnificent views, everyone had their own space yet could gather comfortably in all the common areas. The interior of the home was clean and had plenty of amenities, plus extra towels and blankets. Adults and kids alike loved the game room, and we used the movie theater room several times. During our stay we made several trips to the local market on the golf cart that was provided, which was both fun and convenient. The only issue we had with the property was that the area around the pool and spa was dirty. It wasn't very noticeable when dry but when we swam the first night and water splashed out from our kids jumping in and out, or us walking to and from the spa, the area became muddied. We hosed the area off the next morning and I notified the property manager of the issue. He was very responsive and while obviously, nothing could be done about the stone around the pool, he had the pool and spa serviced and clean for us early that day. We continued to enjoy the outdoor area for the rest of our stay. Overall, we loved the home and would absolutely return for another stay. Thank you, Tony and Tim!

This was a large family gathering including 5 children, 13 adults. Very comfortable accommodation with pool, hot tub, pickle ball court, pool table, theater room, lots of outside deck space, located on beach. We hired a chef to come in one night which worked out well. No immediate beach access, need to walk a bit but less than half mile. Golf cart available for those who do not want to walk. We were very pleased with the house.

We booked this house and three more near by to host our family reunion of 25 people. This was the main house where we do the gathering. The location is great, clean house and plenty of stuff to keep the kids busy. The house can use some updating. Maybe a new hot tub, replace one shower head for master bathroom and other little things. But overall we enjoyed the house with beautiful views.

The home was absolutely perfect for the fifteen of us. The views were breathtaking as the house sits on a cliff overlooking the Pacific where surfers were active from morning till night. While the pool was a bit cold, several of the kids enjoyed it and the hot tub was utilized a few times a day. The pickle ball court was a real bonus and a very creative use of the roof. We were there for a milestone birthday and could not have been more pleased. Easy access to the sights of San Diego and a quick drive to La Jolla. The large dining room table was able to seat all of us. The caterers who Tony recommended were superb for the four dinners we were there for. Simon and Tim, the managers were very pleasant and responsive.. We would return in a hearbeat!!!
