About this house rental
A lovely property with gorgeous view of the Berkshire Mountains. Conveniently located near many attractions, such as Tanglewood & Jacob's Pillow. 5 bedrooms (6 beds), 3.5 baths, sleeps 12. The main floor has an open floor plan, making each room flow into another, including a spacious living room with a large smart TV, a fireplace pellet stove, an upscale & fully equipped kitchen, half bathroom, a dining area which opens to a deck with breathtaking view and a screened porch. The main floor also houses a master bedroom with a king size bed, an attached master bathroom (with deep bath-tub & a separate shower) and an office in a separate room. The upper floor has a bathroom with tub & shower and two bedrooms: one with king size bed, and the second bedroom has two queen beds (sleeps 4). Downstairs floor has 2 bedroom (one has attached full bath), and laundary/exercise room. The backyard has a large blue-stone paved patio, where you can recline, enjoy the view, barbecue, or sit by the fire pit to roast marshmallows. The house sits on 0.8 acres land is surrounded by trees to provide privacy. Enjoy the use of: 4 kayaks & 1 Canoe (you can roll it on an attached cart) to Lake Mansfield boat dock which is 300 feet away. This property is perfect for families, vacationing couples, or group of friends. House has central heating, AC units, smart TVs (in living room and all bedrooms) and high-speed internet access.

Ephrat's home truly is a gem in the Berkshires. We had such a great time. The facility was perfect for our needs and an excellent location. Ephrat was a very responsive host. Thank you so much for helping our family make great memories!!

Ephrat was very attentive and her home is lovely. Incredibly clean and a stunning view of the mountains. Super accessible to the town of Great Barrington - we were able to walk there. Would definitely stay again!

The location and layout of the property are great--10 min walk to the shops and such of Great Bsrrington in one direction and lovely Lake Mansfield in the other--BUT before we checked in, we learned the dishwasher was broken and could not be repaired, and after we checked in I learned the cart to move the provided canoe and kayak to the boat launch at the lake was not available. This was actually a huge disappointment as my family and guests were looking forward to this activity. The host suggested affixing the boats to our car--it was a rental, not a viable solution. In addition, the toaster was not functioning and the host kept multiple refrigerators under lock and key and monitored our coming and going via security cameras while I empathize with wanting to be sure your property is safe and your renters are abiding by rules, the cumulative impact was that I felt as though I was renting from a host who was deeply ambivalent about renting his property. At the price point of this rental, I would expect an accurate listing and frankly, had I known that the kayaks and canoes were not available I wouldn't have rented the property. I'm giving 3 stars because the location and property itself was lovely.
