'The Mountain House' is the perfect cabin for you and your family to enjoy your Smoky Mountain getaway. Located in Covered Bridge Resort, you will be only 5-10 minutes away from the Parkway and close to all the attractions Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. Only 5 minutes away from the famous Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster and Goats on the Roof, close to Tanger Outlets and Dollywood, you will be able to get anywhere in a short amount of time!
Don’t like the curvy mountain roads? This fully furnished cabin is definitely the one for you with extremely easy access.

Inside the cabin, you will find a master bedroom on the main level with a king sized bed, a bathroom, and a large jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom is upstairs and includes two queen beds and a bathroom. Our cozy living area downstairs also includes a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests, a love seat, an electric fireplace, and a mounted flat-screen TV. Also on the main level, you will find a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a coffee maker, a large table to accommodate your whole family, as well as a washer and dryer.
If you choose to spend time inside the cabin, we have provided a large collection of DVDs, books, board and card games, a playstation 2 with games, and a TV in every room. The loft also includes a pool table and an arcade game with 150 games.

Rain or shine, come enjoy our secluded covered back deck and relax in our large hot tub or rocking chairs. You can also enjoy cooking on the grill and dining on the picnic table.

The property was in an excellent location. It was close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cleanliness was great. The shower in the downstairs bathroom drained slowly and the toilet upstairs does not flush on the first try. The tv in Master bedroom did not work. Other than these items we had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend! We did have a bit of a problem finding the house number because it was tucked back off the curb.

The cabin is in the perfect location, not far from activities and town. Is was clean, just a few very minor things that arent necessary to even mention. The owners were very responsive to messages and helpful. Google directions to the address take you somewhere way different but of you follow the directions in the virbo direcrions, they take you right there without any issues.

An awesome place to stay! The location of the area is great, and the cabin is located in a little nook of the hillside. Couldn’t really see any amazing views, but we didn’t mind that. The place was clean, stocked and had plenty of space. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with! I appreciate that. Our only complaint is that a Sauna was listed as an amenity and pictures of it were in listing, however the sauna wasn’t there during our stay. Assuming it was removed for some reason. Kind of a bummed because the old men were excited for it, but the hot tub worked perfectly fine! Overall, would definitely go back! Thanks owners.

Perfect location! Short drive to the parkway and easy drive to get to the house. Our 3 kids enjoyed the arcade games and the pool table, as well as the hot tub! We did have a few general complaints. There were no darts for the dart board, a few pool sticks were broken upon arrival, dishes were left in the dishwasher, and there was store bought baked goods in the cabinet from a previous tenant. With the exception of the bedroom furniture, most of the other furniture needs to be replaced as it is very worn down (chairs are wobbly, sofas are very worn down.) Also, the sauna is no longer at this property, but was still pictured.

We had a great stay. The cabin was super clean and had all the items we needed. Only thing I would recommend is bring your own pillows and blankets (if you are cold natured). There is no extra and only two pillows per bed. We are extra pillow people!

Cabin was adorable. There was room for our family and enough table space to make it cozy eating meals together. The hot tub was working and we used it several times a day. Our only complaint was that we needed more silverware and utensils. 5 forks for 8 people. Plenty of cooking utensils though. Definitely needs a new can opener, finally found an electric one tucked way back in the corner. Dishwasher didn't get dishes clean, wound up washing by hand. Other than those small inconvenience, we had a wonderful stay. Older folks should note that the entrance has steep steps to get in. We had enough room to park 2 big trucks and strong backs to get up the stairs just fine. All my questions were answered by the owners before our stay and we would definitely like ro stay here again. Located out of all the traffic which was great. Thanks for a wonderful place to begin 2023.

Bed had two pillows with no pillow cases. All the furniture in the photos has since been replaced with different pieces that are terribly uncomfortable and low backs. The most comfortable place to sit was outside. No toilet paper. The maid came to clean it when we got there and had to bring bed sheets because there weren’t any on the bed.

Washer was broken. Maintenance never came to even try to fix it. Bring your own TP, soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. There was so little of that stuff we had to go to the store the first night on property. We were staying for 5 days. Had it only been 1 night, it would have been ok. Found dead cockroaches and lots of dust and other peoples stuff under the bed/couch/chairs/etc. Couch bed is a complete joke. My 2 year old couldn’t even sleep on it bc the springs poke you everywhere. The handrail to the stairs outside is so wobbly my mom almost fell multiple times trying to hold onto it to help her walk up/down the stairs. This is a fantastic location and has great potential! The house is pretty and looks nice as long as you don’t look at little details and see how the owners aren’t taking care of the house. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable. The jet tub drain takes forever to drain, but it is a nice jet tub. I think the drain is clogged. We loved staying in a house rather than a hotel, but due to the conditions of the house, next year we will rent somewhere else. I was hoping to have a good experience and come back each year, but the owners/maintenance don’t take care of the property. This property needs a lot of TLC! The owners were kind to talk to on the phone, but ultimately couldn’t solve any of the problems we encountered.

Very unhappy. The hosts were very nice and apologetic but to come on a short getaway and book a house just for the hot tub and sauna, then to have it not work, is unacceptable. We never once got to use either one. No light bulbs on front or back porch. No batteries in any of the remotes, so we couldn't use TVs. Worse experience ever and will not rent this Cabin again. No referrals will be given and if asked, my review I just left will be exactly what I say.

Was a nice little cabin. A lot of dust and cob webs. Some of the jets in the hot tub didn’t work and it didn’t have a cover. Had some light bulbs out. Pool table was in ruff shape. Overall cabin was ok. Needs some TLC to get it updated. The living room furniture is worn out and pull out bed didn't function so 2 kids slept on the floor for a week (just glad was kids not adults). The cabin was in a good location. Close to Pigeon Forge, Townsend and Gatlinburg. Loved having a pool table and a arcade game. Never got the TV to work. No cable only Roku which I have never used. Cigarette butt found in dryer. Kid gummed found in the upstairs loft where the pool table and arcade game was at. Ceiling fans were very dusty and the vent in the bathroom was dirty. Overall a good experience.

This home is in a quiet location but close enough to the action. It was peaceful with a good layout. However, the cleanliness was less than desirable. There was trash around the outside of the home. Inside, the kitchen floor was sticky and the ceiling fan was dusty. There was a food wrapper behind the bedroom side table. A deep cleaning would do wonders for this home.

The cabin was cozy and cute with all the neat bear decorations. Loved the variety of activities to do just in the cabin. Movies, game room, sauna and hot tub, books etc. The cabin was spacious and full of character. However, I was disappointed at the lack of deep cleaning, especially during COVID. Upon arrival everything seemed clean but upon closer inspection you could find thick dust in vents and fans, under furniture and under everything really. I have small crawling children so I was on the floor more than most people and it was not a pretty sight. Old candy and food and dust under everything. The coffee maker was broken. The refrigerator had a broken drawer and some furniture had a broken leg. The place is obviously worn and well-loved. The hot tub leaked so we had to add water before we could get in as the level was below the jets. This significantly lowered the tub temp and took hours to properly heat up. The hot tub cover was also worn so bad it bowed in the middle making it hard to take off and on. Lastly, an hour before check out we were loading our cars to leave and there were two cars circling our cabin pulling in behind our car several times and then driving off and circling and coming back. I’m assuming it was the cleaning crew as they swooped in right after we left. However, it was stressful as we were all trying to pack up three toddlers and all our belongings. We left 15 mins before check out so I didn’t feel like awkwardly staring at us as we packed up was necessary. Perhaps a friendly “Hey, we are the cleaning crew. Please take your time. Don’t be alarmed. We are not stocking you.” Would have been more appropriate. Overall, I really did like the cabin and would return if perhaps they would consider deep cleaning it.

This cabin is a beautiful cabin. It is tucked away in a corner at the base of a hill. The beds could use an update because they are uncomfortable. The hot tub was great. Everything except the light worked on it. The only problem we had the entire time we stayed was trying to figure out why we have to pay a cleaning fee. The vents had not been cleaned in a long time. Looked like the upstairs has not been vacuumed in awhile. The cabin was still clean but not cleaning fee clean. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

The cabin was really nice and in a nice location. The owners were really nice answering my questions when I had one especially when I could not get the door lock to work (error on my part) and when we got snowed in. My kids 18, 18 and 15 had a blast and all the games and movies they provide kept them entertained when snowed in. We even had a visit from an owl two nights in a row wish could post a picture of it. My daughter named it rudolf lol. The couches could use some updating but overall everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend staying here.
