Beautiful home, with amazing views and plenty of privacy. We were a party of seven with three generations and there was lots of room for us all to spread out but also be together when we wanted to be. The outside of the property is spectacular and the swimming pool was larger than we imagined it would be from the photos. There were lovely areas to sit and enjoy the view (which was different from each vantage point) and it was all well maintained.Inside was equally lovely, with everything you could possibly need made available to us as guests. Thank you for having us to stay - we will be back!

We had an amazing stay at the Avocado House. The pictures represent it really well. The hosts have thought of everything. I figured I'd have to get a few things once we got there but really, I didn't need to. They were incredibly responsive to any questions I had also. The backyard and view is amazing. I'd love to come back and would recommend this home to anyone looking to relax and enjoy their stay in San Diego.

This property was awesome. We had 2 families totaling of 8 people. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had 2 teenagers and 2 young kids under the age of 9. We went to the zoo and the safari park. Each time we came back we would take a dip in the pool and enjoy the city views. The hosts Jim and Dayna were super responsive. I would definitely book again.

The property was spectacular. Its location was centrally located which allowed us easy access to any of the multiple Things to Do spots in the San Diego area. The house itself was better than advertised. It provided views second to none and enough seclusion to allow us to enjoy the peace and quiet of the west coast.

The house and the views were beautiful!. Beyond our expectations. Plenty of space for our family. They had a pack and play and a high chair which were perfect for our grandson. We cooked meals and all cookware, dishes, etc. were provided. The pool and garden were well maintained and gorgeous. If we travel to San Diego in the future, we would rent this place again.

Our family of six totally enjoyed our stay at the Avocado House. The layout of the house, extra bathrooms and gorgeous view (day and night) were all very pleasant and accommodating. The weather was perfect for using the pool and I loved walking around the property. We created new memories and celebrated lots of events. We chose the Avocado House because it is conveniently close to campus. The property is also about 20 minutes from downtown and most other locations. Thank you to the host for their responsiveness while booking and answering our questions. We all enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Avocado House as a great place to spend time together. My family of 4 enjoyed the space & comforts of this home. The house is well appointed; secluded from the rest of the area; local restaurants are plenty & surprisingly moderately priced; and most tourist spots we went to/from were within 25 minutes and easy commutes. The weather was a bit chillier than we had hoped for, so unfortunately the pool never got quite warm enough to use, but the outdoor seating areas and garden were lovely.

Was moving our daughter into her freshmen year at SDSU. House was better than the details in the VRBO listing. Lots of space, pool and view were postcard worthy. Property owner kept in communication with us while Tropical Storm Hilary was approaching to keep us informed of local alerts and info. What a perfect house! It had beautiful grounds and a seemingly separate location with really no neighbors you could see. There was some road noise but not bad in the morning and evening when we’d sit out by the pool. The location is fabulous, again sort of secluded but blocks from Vons etc. and the house is well maintained, well stocked and had great amenities. The owners were quick to respond to emails. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended to family/friends in the area if they need a place for visitors to stay. Again couldn’t have been more perfect and we appreciated how well appointed the house was. Thanks for such a great place

We all enjoyed your home. We had a brunch for a few hours on Saturday. Although we ordered food from a local Mexican restaurant and did not cook (except for toast) the house and all the kitchenware were perfect. The brunch was for my father-in-law. Although he couldn't stay long because of his health, his visit was comfortable and he was able to see his grandchildren (3) and sons, etc. all in a homey, comforting environment. Thank you for this as this may be the last time we all see him as he is quite frail. We would love to return in the future when we visit. I plan to recommend your home if I am asked for recommendations from family and friends. Thank you again for creating such a comfortable environment.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. We of course loved being outside enjoying the view and swimming in the pool, but the inside was just as great. It felt so secluded, yet so close to get to everything you needed. Many stores are right at the bottom of the hill and it was only about 20 minutes to get to all the major San Diego attractions. We used all the beach supplies, yard games, etc. and overall we found the house very well equipped (we felt like we were at home). Thank you for sharing your house with us - we hope to come back someday!

Very accurate description of property and rooms. The house is very large and for larger family was perfectly setup. The room arrangement gave everyone their "own" space and every bed (even the pullout couch) were very comfortable. The pool was great with an amazing view that the pictures don't do justice - pool was clean and very comfortable for swimming during sunny days. More than enough room for entire family and some friends (11 in total) to eat inside and/or outside at this house. All the amenities needed for cooking, eating, cleaning, etc. *only issue was the dishwasher did not clean anything on the bottom rack very well. Easily enough to just do the plates and cookware by hand. Isolated location provided all the privacy needed, and yet only 15-20 drive to Mission Bay and La Jolla beaches and areas. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the San Diego area.

We had a fantastic stay! Extended family of 7, with 3 small children. Property was well-equipped and comfortable for everyone. Ate every meal outside - incredible outdoor space.
