About this apartment rental
Our newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment is located in the heart of Loudoun County's Wine Region. It is situated on a beautiful country road with it's own private entrance. It has a full kitchen, WiFi, TV and washer/dryer. A perfect getaway!
Guests will have access to their own private outdoor space.
Our Catoctin Valley home is central to many wonderful activities. In our own "backyard" you can visit Flying Ace Farm (Beer and Spirits) www.flyingacefarm.com and Creeks Edge Winery www.creeksedgewinery.com which are both about a 3 minute drive away. Also within a short drive you can be biking on the C&O Canal, hiking on the Appalachian trail or canoeing/kayaking on the Potomac River. Civil War sites including Harper's Ferry, WV and Antietam Battlefield are also nearby.
The historic towns of Leesburg, VA and Frederick, MD are only a 20 minute ride. There you will find an abundance of great restaurants and antique shops as well as the Leesburg Premium Outlet Mall. Loudoun and Frederick wineries, breweries and distilleries are all around us. You can enjoy a day visiting some of the beautiful tasting rooms and possibly end your evening at one of the local award winning restaurants.
The MARC train station at Point of Rock's Maryland is a 5 minute drive from us and provides weekday commuter transportation to and from Washington, DC. Five minutes to dog park.

The ground-floor walk-in apartment is located around the back of a lovely home on a very quiet gravel road (something Loudon County is known for). It was immaculately clean and very welcoming, with scones set out for breakfast and a bottle of wine on the dining room table. There's plenty of room in the large yard for dog walking, and our dogs settled right into the routine and enjoyed their stay, too. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed. Thanks so much for being such good hosts!

Would highly recommend. The hosts provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions for everything on the property, and the home was stocked with thoughtful amenities that made the visit incredibly comfortable. It truly had everything we needed for a relaxing, seamless experience.”

It was a pretty long trek to anywhere honestly so if you're not a fan of driving for 30 minutes I wouldn't recommend it. However, if you're looking for a clean, secluded, peaceful, and welcoming environment, this is the place for you!

Our stay, 3 weeks, was incredibly peaceful, quiet and restful. We were able get great sleep, it was quiet, secluded but slso easily accsessible. Beautiful setting, extensive walking trails. The apartment was clean, well furnished, good connectivity to TV, & internet. Hosts, Roberta & Rich, friendly, informative & responsive. Our first choice for BnB fromnow on.
