Located just 45 minutes west of Minneapolis, Minnesota and just south of the town of Howard Lake, you can enjoy a vacation close to home! The dutch lake farm GUEST HOUSE is a contemporary, private guest house, lofted above a garage for maximum views of Dutch Lake and picturesque fields and woods through floor to ceiling windows. The virtual glass living room is one architectural element of your own private accommodations including a private entrance, living room, dinette with small refrigerator and microwave oven, bedroom and full bathroom.
Enjoy the two docks and use of the canoe and fire pit. Explore the private 80 acre setting with a trail through fields, a hardwood forest, and a Christmas tree growing farm. Enjoy all the nature that Minnesota has to offer while canoeing, hiking the trails, fishing off the dock by the lake, bird watching, stargazing far from the city’s light pollution, or simply relaxing on the double hammock under the 200 year old cottonwood tree. This is such a tranquil spot, and perfect for a last night in MN after some time in Minneapolis. My husband loved the fishing access and caught a few bass! The guest house was modern and pristine; no worries about cleanliness whatsoever. We had no trouble accessing mobile internet. Hosts were very nice!

Return visit for 3 nights. Greg and Christie were there to greet us along with Picasso. We enjoyed the long weekend with more time to soak in the quiet time on their hammocks, listening to the sound of nature and breathing fresh air. Just what we needed! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
