About this house rental
Newly remodeled 1889 historic Silverton home with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Modern design with tasteful decor. Upstairs bath has a luxurious steam shower and the downstairs bathroom has a claw foot tub. This is one of the most well kept and beautiful rental homes in Silverton. There is an organic mattress in the master bedroom and other beds are outfitted w organic sheets. There is a very comfortable and entertainment worthy kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked complete with granite countertops and a dining nook that easily seats six with room for accommodating larger parties. The house has radiant in-floor heating throughout. Large and very cozy living room with gorgeous oriental rug and gas fireplace. There is also a laundry room stocked with earth friendly laundry detergent.
There is very private, large, fenced in backyard. Which includes a back deck with Weber bbq grill. This beautiful yard is complete with shady Aspen trees, and a beautiful rock and perennial garden outlined by a lush green lawn. The views of Sultan, Grand Turk and Kendall Mountains are glorious. Located just off of Main street on notorious Blair street. Comfortably sleeps 6 (7 with couch).

Peppercorn, my adorable kitty lives here. She is clean, feeds and waters herself, there is no litter box so it's not stinky, she lets herself in and out as she pleases. If you don't like, or are allegoric to cats, this house is not for you! If you're not sure, then definitely rent and you'll fall in love, promise.
There is a year round tenant that lives on the property ( attached dwelling) completely separate entrance, yard, etc.

We had a great stay in Silverton. The house was perfect for us and in a great location for our daily hikes in the mountains. Kim was a terrific host. Everything was just as advertised only better. We were in her house for 20 days and had NO issues whatsoever!

We had a great stay in Silverton. The house was very nice very put together. It worked well for what we were doing. Enjoy the time with my brother would stay there again thanks.

Kim's 130 year old house was the highlight of our trip to Colorado. Family of 7 (3 generations) stayed at Kim's Silverton house for 5 days in mid June. House was perfect. Located right on the OHV route so you can park your rides in front of the house. Very convenient. Easy walking distance to everything in town.I won't go into all of the great features of the house as that is not really my thing--you can read other reviews about how well the beds slept, etc. I especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings (before the kids got up) taking in the views of snowcapped Kendall Mountain and playing "Can Jam" in the backyard in the evenings. The backyard has 2 decks, gas grill and a fire pit. Fantastic place to unwind after a day of high adventure on the Alpine Loop or day trips to Durango, Ouray or Telluride. Last Dollar Road is a must on your way to Telluride. If you live in the big city like my family and want an opportunity to relax and unwind, Silverton is the place to go and Kim's place is the place to stay. The lodging at our other two destination--Aspen (Snowmass) and Vail was nice (at 3 times the price of Kim's place) but every night when I went to bed in Snowmass and Vail, I was wishing I was back at Kim's place in Silverton. You can go to the fancy ski resorts so you can tell your friends back home, but many of you will enjoy the hassle-free vibe of Silverton more. Even our 5 year old grandson liked Silverton the best because he could walk down to the 2 river crossing (within 100 yards) and throw rocks in the rivers (although he did enjoy his 6 rides on the Alpine Coaster in Snowmass). He also discovered a "million dollars" of gold on the local gold mine tour a few miles away.A special thanks to Kim for sharing her house. She was the perfect host, always available to answer questions or make recommendations. Kim made us feel very welcome at her house. Already looking to schedule a fall trip to Colorado and will definitiely stay at Kim's place.
