About this bed and breakfast

We still have dates available for September and October.

Fall is the best time to fish for large browns and rainbows, shop Bozeman, and explore the Park. At On The Fly Ranch, your family or group will experience rustic luxury, modern amenities, and breathtaking 360-degree mountain views.

Our beautifully appointed 1,100 sq. ft. guesthouse rests on 20 private acres that borders Bozeman and Big Sky—25 minutes from Bozeman Airport.

And if fly fishing is your passion, public access to the Gallatin River is less than five minutes away, filled with 12" to 20" native browns, rainbows, and the occasional grayling. This section of the River is easy to walk and wade. Plus, the Madison River (30 minutes) and Yellowstone Park (90 minutes) are close by.

The guesthouse features a great room with a 12-foot ceiling, sofa, big cozy chairs, dining table, TV, and a wood-burning stove.

An oversized bunkroom includes six custom double bunk beds, desk, and a walk-in closet.

A modern kitchen features a gas range, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, new cookware, table settings, and barware. And there's an extra-large bathroom with two sinks, soaking tub, and shower.

Of course, there's air conditioning, heat, a washer and dryer, quality linens, towels, down pillows, soap, and shampoo.

Step outside to a covered porch, gas grill, fire pit, lawns, and expansive mountain views.

Another big plus is the historic steakhouse and bar - a live music honkey tonk, and Mexican restaurant just down the road—you can walk, but we drive.

And, within 10 minutes of your door, there’s a gourmet market for meat, fish, beer, wine, and groceries. Baked goods, coffee, liquor stores, and multiple restaurants are also nearby. Along with two fly shops that offer local knowledge, gear, and apparel.

Yeah, this should be your Home on the Range to relax, fish, and make the world go away.

Owners are in the main house to answer questions.

The Bunkhouse was amazing, cozy and perfectly fitting for a stay in Montana. Michele and Dwayne are amazing hosts and checked in on us regularly. I would rate this a 10 star if I could. Montana is amazing and the location of the property is perfect. You can easily be anywhere in 30 minutes. Just can’t say enough great things about the property. Thank you for making our family vacation more special.

The Bunkhouse was a perfect get-a-way home for my family for our first trip to MT. It was beautiful, cozy, & the perfect distance away from Bozeman without being directly in the city. My boys had a great time fishing on the river close by. The bunk beds were so comfortable & the beautiful yard was a great place to have a camp fire at the end of the day & let the kids run around. I can't say enough positives about this place! Michelle was also very attentive if we needed anything. We enjoyed every minute! :-)

This was a wonderful location! Easy access to Big Sky and MSU!!!Walking distance to Stacey’s, our favorite restaurant. The bunkhouse is quiet, lovely and very comfortable. It has everything you need. Love all the details!!!! Fabulous ceiling . The view of the mountains is absolutely fantastic, beautiful sunset every night! Bump fire, river, stunning views, and horses around (all we needed to celebrate our daughter graduation). Happy that she choose to continue her education at MSU! That means we will be back soon! Definitely recommend staying here.
