About this house rental
Come enjoy the conveniences of being close to both Downtown Winter Park and Winter Park Ski Resort, while in a serene mountain setting with fabulous views of Byers Peak and the Vasquez Mountains. This spacious 3BR/3.5BA home sits above the town of Winter Park in the Rendezvous development, which is a quiet community with numerous amenities. The home has an open floor plan, sleeps up to 8 comfortably and is perfect for 1 or 2 families. It also has a private hot tub, outdoor dining area, smart TVs in all rooms, gas grill, washer/dryer, heated garage, fireplace, and plenty of toys and games for kids, as well as a portable crib.
The home is less than a 10-minute drive from world-class skiing/snowboarding at Winter Park / Mary Jane ski resort. During most of the ski season, the town's free LIFT shuttle runs daily with a stop within a 5-minute walk from the home, taking you to the ski resort. For an alternative to skiing, there are snowshoeing trails right outside the door and tubing hills less than 3 miles away. In the summertime, enjoy the nearby stocked fishing pond, hiking/biking trails right in the backyard and the many activities offered at Winter Park Ski Resort (including mountain biking and an alpine slide), as well as the abundance of trails, golf courses and water activities throughout the Fraser Valley. Lake Granby, Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park are all within easy reach, roughly 45 minutes away. Also just a couple of minutes away in Downtown Winter park is a beautiful recreation center with an amazing pool, as well as bowling, a movie theater, shops and variety of restaurants.
Sleeping arrangements: King in master bedroom on main level, California king in upstairs bedroom and two twin-over-double bunk beds in basement bedroom, as well as a full-size sofa sleeper. The master and basement bedrooms are en suite, while the third bedroom and its bathroom are isolated on the top floor.

The home itself was lovely and the hosts, once we got over some initial technical problems, we're very helpful. The location was good, the neighborhood was a bit more cramped than we like as the houses are very close together. Other than that, it was good!

This is such a beautiful house! We loved being able to split up into the three bedrooms and baths, 1 on each floor, plus the half bath off the kitchen. The kids had a great time in the basement bunk bed room, and they enjoyed sledding right next to the house and walking on the connected paths out the side door. We brought our own groceries, but everything else was there that we needed- towels, linens, blankets, pillows, cookware, and plenty of soap and shampoos too. The house is in a great location, technically in Fraser but minutes from Winter Park’s Market and restaurants for take-out. Karen, the owner, responded to all of our questions very quickly, and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We definitely want to come back again!
