Don't let the remote location fool you! This home is located within a 4-5 minute drive to University Park campus and only minutes to the Bryce Jordan center or Beaver stadium. Located off the beaten path and near popular hiking trails this 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom guest home is perfect for your next trip to Happy Valley. The home has a great patio for grilling and a large fully stocked kitchen for finishing up those last minute tailgate dishes. One queen bed in guest bedroom and 1 king and a twin bed in the master bedroom. Bring your hiking shoes or Mountain bike to explore the numerous trails in Shingletown gap located just steps from the backdoor.

We rented this house for PSU graduation. We hosted a lunch after graduation. It was perfect, room for our 15 or so guests. Home is advertised, comfortable, homey, with room to spread out. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful location, nestled in the woods. Nice outdoor patio with table and chairs. Owners were very nice and responsive. I highly recommend the property.

This house is in a quiet, though not isolated since it is opposite the owner's house, location and is literally on a trail that takes you into some lovely hikes through the woods.
The big problem I had with this house is that it just wasn't clean. It seemed to me as if the sheets had been changed , the bins emptied and that was it on the cleaning front. There was a line of soap scum and hairs in the tub, pet hairs on the bedcovers and rugs, mouse droppings in the kitchen cupboards, water bugs, and even half a pizza in a box in the fridge. The place was grubby. I knocked on the owner's door to tell her this and she just went 'ok then.' No 'sorry', no 'let me get the place properly cleaned for you.' I don't understand why the other reviews were so glowing.
